The government announced the creation of a guaranteed credit fund for beneficiaries with lower rates and to minimize the risk of default, aimed at micro and small entrepreneurs benefiting from social programs, such as Bolsa Família.

With this, the Minister of Development Social Wellington Dias hopes that this guaranteed credit for beneficiaries be accessible to people who want to start their own business, such as a snack bar. However, there is an expectation that the banks will contribute financially to the fund, which would allow them to reach the target imposed by the government, which provides for 2% of deposits to be allocated to social causes.

This measure is part of the third axis developed by the Ministry of Social Development to improve people's departure from Family Bag. Unlike the previous proposal by the Bolsonaro government (PL), which offered high interest rates on payroll loans for Auxílio Brasil beneficiaries to pay off their debts, now the rates are more attractive to users’ pockets. It is a new chance for Brazilian families, who who knows may find their source of income and prosperity in the informal economy.

The federal government launched the new Bolsa Familia, intended for 20,8 million beneficiaries, which begins to be paid on March 20. The program arrives as a promise of a better future for everyone, as the average amount paid to families will be R$715, a milestone in PT management. In this way, the government also foresees an additional R$150 per child up to six years old who is in school and R$50 for children between 7 and 18 years old.

Payments will take place until March 31, releasing the amounts according to the final number of the NIS (Social Identification Number). The 2023 calendar has not changed.

Last week, the government announced an increase in the Family Bag. Beneficiaries will have access to R$600 per month for one-person families and each child up to six years old attending school will receive an additional amount of R$150.

An ascending gradation happens with families that have several children in the age group, as if it were a step of success: a family with one child will have R$750 and, if they have two children, they will receive R$900 per month. It's like parents make a Financial investiment in their children's education, as they receive a reward for each step the child takes towards schooling. However, teenagers also receive an incentive of R$50 to continue studying.
