LIVIS System Marks Debut of the Smartest Car with 2560 TOPS of Capacity
The L9 is the first vehicle to integrate the LIVIS – Li Auto Intelligent Vehicle Intelligence System. The system delivers a processing capacity of 2560 TOPS, allowing it to manage billions of operations per second simultaneously and make decisions in milliseconds.
This computational power fuels the vision and sensor system. The vehicle processes a detailed map of the environment in real-time, enabling smoother and safer navigation in complex urban areas.
The goal is not limited to avoiding obstacles. The system also predicts traffic behavior with a precision described as unprecedented for the segment, solidifying the smart car’s proposal in the Chinese market.
Increased Dimensions and Interior Space for Seven Passengers
The Li Auto L9 maintains a large size. It measures 5.218 meters in length, 1.998 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 3.105 meters.
The dimensions ensure three rows of seats and a total capacity for seven passengers. The interior space has been designed to offer a spacious environment, reinforcing the concept of a mobile lounge for families.

Unlike the Li Auto i8, the L9 uses an extended range electric system – EREV – similar to the L6. The combustion engine operates exclusively as a generator to recharge the battery.
This configuration eliminates concerns about frequent recharging. The official autonomy exceeds 1,300 kilometers in the CLTC cycle, integrating energy performance into the technological package.
The hybrid setup expands the proposal for the smartest car by combining data processing of 2560 TOPS with extended range, integrating efficiency and technology.
The starting price is 559,800 yuans, equivalent to approximately €68,400 at the current exchange rate. According to the information released, this price would be considered very good for Europe, but high by Chinese standards.
