With Processing of 2560 TOPS, Unprecedented LIVIS System, Autonomy Over 1,300 Km in the CLTC Cycle and Starting Price of 559,800 Yuans, the Li Auto L9 Expands the Dispute in the Luxury SUV Segment in China by Combining Advanced Artificial Intelligence, Seven Seats, and EREV Hybrid Technology in a Single Model
China has introduced the smartest car in the world with an EREV hybrid system, autonomy exceeding 1,300 km, and processing of 2560 TOPS. The Li Auto L9 arrives priced at 559,800 yuans, combining advanced artificial intelligence, seven seats, and a focus on autonomous driving.
The market for luxury SUVs manufactured in China gains a new competitor that redefines expectations for the smartest car. Li Auto revealed the details of the Li Auto L9, a flagship model that represents advancements in artificial intelligence and autonomy.
The presentation takes place amid intense competition in the country, where the dispute involves data processing capability. With the LIVIS system, the manufacturer aims to offer an experience close to that of a high-performance computer on wheels and lead the race for autonomous driving.

LIVIS System Marks Debut of the Smartest Car with 2560 TOPS of Capacity
The L9 is the first vehicle to integrate the LIVIS – Li Auto Intelligent Vehicle Intelligence System. The system delivers a processing capacity of 2560 TOPS, allowing it to manage billions of operations per second simultaneously and make decisions in milliseconds.
This computational power fuels the vision and sensor system. The vehicle processes a detailed map of the environment in real-time, enabling smoother and safer navigation in complex urban areas.
The goal is not limited to avoiding obstacles. The system also predicts traffic behavior with a precision described as unprecedented for the segment, solidifying the smart car’s proposal in the Chinese market.
Increased Dimensions and Interior Space for Seven Passengers
The Li Auto L9 maintains a large size. It measures 5.218 meters in length, 1.998 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 3.105 meters.
The dimensions ensure three rows of seats and a total capacity for seven passengers. The interior space has been designed to offer a spacious environment, reinforcing the concept of a mobile lounge for families.
In addition to the interior configuration, the model incorporates multiple infotainment systems. The proposal integrates technology and comfort as a central part of the positioning of the smartest car.
Comfort Features and Artificial Intelligence in the Internal Environment
The seats feature a massage function in all positions. The vehicle also includes an integrated refrigerator and an immersive sound system with automatic acoustic adjustment according to the number of passengers.
Artificial intelligence works to adapt the internal environment. The technology operates in the background, prioritizing the well-being and comfort of the occupants without directly interfering with the daily experience.
This combination of advanced processing and internal features reinforces Li Auto’s strategy to position the L9 as a reference in the premium segment.
EREV System Guarantees Autonomy Over 1,300 Km in the CLTC Cycle
Unlike the Li Auto i8, the L9 uses an extended range electric system – EREV – similar to the L6. The combustion engine operates exclusively as a generator to recharge the battery.
This configuration eliminates concerns about frequent recharging. The official autonomy exceeds 1,300 kilometers in the CLTC cycle, integrating energy performance into the technological package.
The hybrid setup expands the proposal for the smartest car by combining data processing of 2560 TOPS with extended range, integrating efficiency and technology.
The starting price is 559,800 yuans, equivalent to approximately €68,400 at the current exchange rate. According to the information released, this price would be considered very good for Europe, but high by Chinese standards.
With the official launch and confirmed specifications, the Li Auto L9 consolidates the manufacturer’s bet on the integration of extended autonomy, artificial intelligence, and large-scale processing capability, marking a new chapter in the race for the smartest car in the Chinese market.
