Citroën C4 X 2025 Mixes Sedan, SUV, and Fastback with Turbo Engine, Digital Dashboard, and 510 Liters of Trunk Space. See Why It Could Be a Good Option Against the Fiat Fastback in Brazil.
Citroën is already selling the C4 X in several European markets, a model that breaks traditional categories by uniting features of sedans, SUVs, and hatchbacks in a single proposal. With a raised appearance, fastback rear, and generous trunk, the car stands out for offering family practicality, modern looks, and an efficient mechanical set — all with intermediate dimensions and an urban footprint.
Still not available in Brazil, the C4 X emerges as a strong contender to rival the Fiat Fastback, Chevrolet Tracker, and Volkswagen Nivus, should it be launched here. Moreover, it offers a differentiated proposal, focusing on European design, generous interior space, and embedded technology that give it an advantage over similar models.
Design That Mixes Segments: Sedan, SUV, and Fastback at the Same Time
Visually, the C4 X exceeds expectations. It is neither a traditional sedan nor a typical SUV. With a higher driving position, generous ground clearance, and an elongated rear, the model adopts the concept of “three-volume crossover,” with a look inspired by modern coupes and fastbacks.

It surpassed the T-Cross, Creta, and Tracker: with nearly 8,000 units sold, the Volkswagen Tera was the best-selling SUV in March 2026.

Honda performs miracles in fuel consumption with a hatch that marks 13.2 km/l in the city and 15 km/l on the highway, leaving Polo, HB20, 208, and Onix behind and becoming a reference among compact cars without resorting to turbo or hybrid systems.

Six diseases that seem common but can prevent the renewal of the driver’s license for the elderly throughout Brazil and surprise experienced drivers — could any of them affect you without showing clear signs?

With 122 hp, fuel consumption of up to 17.7 km/l, and a trunk capacity of 440 liters, this hybrid SUV impresses even though it costs up to R$ 47,000 more than the Yaris — meet the Toyota Corolla Cross.
The front is identical to the currently sold C4 hatch in Brazil, featuring the double chrome logo integrated into the LED headlights, arrow-shaped daytime running lights, and a bumper with a glossy black finish.
The side features an ascending waistline and wheels of up to 18 inches, while the rear stands out for its smooth roofline, sharp taillights with LED signature lighting, and a sporty trunk lid.
With 4.60 meters in length, the C4 X surpasses competitors like the Fiat Fastback (4.43 m) and the VW Nivus (4.27 m). One of its greatest attractions is the trunk space of 510 liters, which opens like a conventional sedan, but with depth and width worthy of a medium SUV — ideal for families and long trips.
Interior with Digital Dashboard and Above-Average Comfort
The interior of the C4 X bets on technology and ergonomics. The model features a digital instrument panel and a 10-inch floating multimedia center compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Physical controls are limited, favoring intuitive navigation through touch and voice commands.
Among the features are digital air conditioning, inductive charger, USB-C ports, ambient lighting, and a premium sound system in the top-tier versions. The comfort package is enhanced by Citroën Advanced Comfort, which includes seats with high-density foam, suspension with progressive hydraulic stops, and improved acoustic insulation — resulting in a quiet and comfortable ride, especially on uneven surfaces.
1.2 Turbo Engine with 136 HP and Electric Version ë-C4 X in Europe
The Citroën C4 X is offered with updated engines in Europe. The main setup uses the well-known 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder turbo engine, with 136 HP and 23.4 kgfm of torque, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This is a mild hybrid version with a 48V electrical system, which reduces consumption and emissions.
The brand also offers the 100% electric ë-C4 X version, equipped with a 156 HP and 260 Nm of torque motor, a 54 kWh battery, and an estimated range of up to 420 km in the WLTP cycle. The 100 kW fast charging allows for recovering 80% of the charge in about 30 minutes.
Despite electrification, should the model come to Brazil, it is more likely to arrive only with a combustion or mild hybrid engine, as occurs with other Stellantis models here. The electric version incurs high costs and relies on charging infrastructure, which is still limited in the national market.
Positioning and Potential in the Brazilian Automotive Market
If launched in Brazil, the C4 X could be positioned in the range of R$ 120,000 to R$ 150,000, depending on the configuration. This would place it as a direct rival to the Fiat Fastback, top-of-the-line Renault Kardian, Chevrolet Tracker Premier, and VW Nivus Highline.
The model has the following key differentiators:
- One of the largest trunks in the segment (510 L)
- Modern design and distinct European identity
- Excellent riding comfort on urban surfaces
- Balanced embedded technology for the price range
Additionally, it could assist Citroën’s strategy to reposition its brand image in Brazil, moving away from the stigma of simple and affordable cars and entering a new level of accessible sophistication — especially if the model arrives in well-equipped versions, maintaining the strong points from the European market.
Citroën C4 X Is a Versatile Crossover with Urban and Family Appeal — and Could Fill a Strategic Gap in Brazil
The Citroën C4 X 2026 is already a reality in Europe and shows how it’s possible to reinvent the concept of station wagon, sedan, and SUV in a single product. With attractive design, efficient turbo engine, competitive electric version, and SUV-like trunk space, the model fills a gap between compact sedans and entry-level SUVs.
If Stellantis brings the C4 X to Brazil, with the mild hybrid configuration focusing on comfort and style, it could be a rational and emotional alternative to the Fastback, Nivus, and Tracker — delivering more space, a differentiated proposal, and the charm of French design with mechanical efficiency.

Simplesmente, espetacular.
Eu compraria.
Tive o C4 Cactus
Maravilhoso.
