The year 2023 is establishing itself as the era of pickup trucks in Brazil, driven by exciting launches such as Ford Ranger, F-150, Ram Rampage, and the refreshed Chevrolet Silverado and Montana. This vibrant year is about to explode even more in 2024 with the awaited launches of the Volkswagen Amarok, Chevrolet S10, and the triumphant arrival of the Fiat Titano.

The website Autoesporte exclusively revealed the 15 pickup trucks that reigned supreme in sales in November 2023, outlining how these powerful machines compete for their positions in this battlefield on wheels. Check out the full ranking at the end of the article!

Numbers Declining: Challenges in the World of Pickup Trucks

The penultimate month of the year registered a total of 35,963 pickups registered, with 14,615 units of compact models and 21,348 units among intermediate, medium, and large models, according to the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave). However, these numbers represent a decline of 9.1% in small pickup sales and 5.8% for large pickups compared to October 2023.

Fiat Strada: The Uncontested Supremacy

The Fiat Strada proved to be the absolute sovereign of this category by registering 11,518 units, outpacing the competition and consolidating its leadership. In second place, we have the robust Fiat Toro, with 4,418 units sold, followed by the imposing Toyota Hilux, which secured the third position with 3,783 trucks sold in November 2023, maintaining its leadership in medium pickups.

Toro Against the Rivals

The Fiat Toro, with its evident dominance, leaves no space for its rivals in the intermediate pickup segment. While the Chevrolet Montana ranks sixth with 2,263 units, the Renault Oroch stands in 11th place with 891 units. The Ram Rampage, making waves in fifth place (3,026), and the Ford Maverick, also intermediate, are at a higher level in terms of finish, construction, and performance.

The Rise of Ram: Big Names in the Final Positions

Ram, with the Rampage, Classic, and 2500, establishes itself as the manufacturer with the greatest presence in the ranking, even though large pickups appear in fewer numbers. The Ram Classic and the Ram 2500 occupy the 14th and 15th positions, with 149 and 124 registrations respectively. The low sales volume of these larger models is attributed to their high price.
