BYD ensures expansion of parts in Brazil, warehouse of 370.000 items promises to meet growing demand with agile imports and strategic expansion, ensuring satisfaction and quick response to the local market.

BYD, a renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, confirms the robust presence of spare parts in Brazil, dispelling doubts and strengthening its after-sales network. Wagner, after-sales manager at BYD, highlights the logistical efficiency and company strategy to meet the growing demand in the Brazilian market in an interview with the Star Motors Rio channel.

BYD has been the target of criticism for alleged failures in the availability of parts, such as tires, but Wagner clarifies that the company is actively importing hundreds of items by air to urgently resolve any shortages. “We have not yet faced unsatisfied demand”, assures the manager, emphasizing the automaker’s proactivity.

BYD's planned growth in Brazil

At the heart of BYD's operation in Brazil is a warehouse with 370.000 parts, corresponding to 5.600 storage positions. Wagner reveals expansion plans, aiming to double this capacity by the end of the year, in response to the growth of the brand's vehicle fleet in the country. “We want to ensure that our current parts supply not only meets but exceeds demand,” he says.

BYD's approach goes beyond simply sourcing parts

The automaker emphasizes service quality and customer satisfaction, with quick and efficient delivery of damaged parts, such as the hood of the BYD model, in just three days. The 300% increase in daily parts shipments since January reflects BYD's commitment to maintaining a steady, reliable flow of critical components.

BYD is firmly established in Brazil with a logistics strategy that prioritizes prompt delivery and customer satisfaction. The automaker's warehouse, with plans for expansion, is a testament to its commitment to meeting the needs of the Brazilian market in an agile and efficient manner. Trust in the brand and continued investment in infrastructure and customer service ensure that BYD is well positioned to grow further in the country.

BYD prepares launch of Technological Innovation Center in Brazil to develop local parts and technologies

BYD plans increase its presence in Brazil with the creation of a Technological Innovation Center. This new venture aims to develop parts and technologies adapted to the specific needs of the Brazilian market, strengthening local autonomy and driving innovation in the electric vehicle sector. This strategic move not only expands BYD's service capacity in terms of parts and services, but also positions the company as a leader in sustainability and technological innovation in Brazil.

This BYD Technological Innovation Center in Brazil will not only cement its reputation as a pioneer in electric vehicles, but also boost the local economy through investments in research and development. The initiative promises to generate qualified jobs and foster partnerships with universities and research institutes, creating an innovation ecosystem focused on sustainability and advanced technology.

In addition to meeting demand for spare parts, the center will focus on developing solutions specific to Brazil's climate and driving conditions, adapting technologies to maximize the efficiency and performance of electric vehicles in the country. This will include battery improvements for tropical climates, adapted charging systems and integration of autonomous driving technologies.
