According to Detran-SP, the models of up to 180 cubic centimeters Registered Rose from 3.3 Million in 2015 to 4.4 Million in 2025, an Increase of 33%. These Vehicles Represent 77% of the Total Number of Motorcycles in the State.

To Be Eligible for the IPVA Exemption, the Motorcycle Must Have a Maximum of 180 Cubic Centimeters, Be Registered in the State of São Paulo, and Have Regular Registration and Licensing Status.

The Benefit is Valid Exclusively for Individuals and is Automatic for All Vehicles Eligible in the Category. The Exemption Does Not Eliminate the Obligation to Pay the Annual Licensing Fee.

The Licensing Fee Must Be Paid According to the Detran-SP Calendar.

Fiscal Planning and Update of the Fipe Table

The Change Considered the Social and Economic Role of Motorcycles in the State. The Planning was Based on Fiscal Projections and the Update of the Fipe Table for 2026.
