In the official communication, IFSP informs that the roles covered include pedagogical coordination, social assistance, teaching, and training and monitoring.
The campus also emphasizes that the role requires availability for activities throughout the project’s duration and affinity with themes such as aging, popular education, and public policies.
Human Rights, Aging, and Citizenship
The Viva Mais Cidadania is a program of the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship, created by ordinance and conducted, at the federal level, by the National Secretary for the Rights of the Elderly.
Among the guidelines are the strengthening of citizenship for elderly people in vulnerable situations and confronting different forms of violence and rights violations in conjunction with public policies and training actions.
In practice, the program proposal includes political training activities on human rights, social participation actions, and strategies that may include digital literacy and media education, according to official descriptions of initiatives associated with Viva Mais Cidadania.
Data released by the ministry itself indicates that in 2025, the program allocated resources for actions directed at vulnerable groups, citing segments that include elderly people living on the streets, among other populations.
Partnership with the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship
In the case of the Diadema Campus, IFSP informs that the project is developed in partnership with the Arthur Bernardes Foundation and is funded by the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship through the National Secretary for the Rights of the Elderly.
The execution is scheduled to take place from January 2026 to February 2027, totaling 14 months of activities, a period that includes territorial diagnosis, training, workshops, report preparation, and intersectoral articulation.
This design, with a presence in more than one municipality and coordinated work, is pointed out by the campus as part of the effort to connect educational and community actions to the social assistance network of the served territories.
Who Can Receive a Scholarship in the Project
The IFSP announcement does not limit opportunities to a single audience.
The campus states that scholarships are intended for professionals and students with training compatible with the chosen role, in addition to requiring availability to work during the project’s period and interest in the themes addressed.
Another highlighted point is the importance of prior experience.
IFSP notes that having a background in working with elderly people, those living on the streets, and other vulnerable groups, as well as previous participation in extension projects, research, or community actions, will be considered an advantage.
Regarding the amounts, the promotional material reproduced by sites covering the selection indicates that the scholarship can reach R$ 3,100 per month, in addition to indicating different ranges depending on the type of role and workload.
As the campus’s own communication advises to consult the notice for details on workload, criteria, and amounts, the recommendation is to check the rules directly in the official announcement before completing the application.
What Monitors and Support Professionals Do
The activities described by IFSP involve actions of popular education, qualified listening, strengthening of citizenship, and articulation with the social assistance network.
These elements appear as a core of the work with the target audience, defined by the campus as elderly people and those in the aging process from 45 years, especially those in social vulnerability and living on the streets.
Although each role has specific assignments, the project’s logic presented by the campus points to activities that combine human rights training, conducting workshops, and territory monitoring.
Moreover, the 14-month schedule includes diagnostic stages and report production, suggesting a routine that alternates fieldwork, formative activities, and systematization of results.
For candidates seeking practical experience, the key point is to understand that the selection is not limited to an academic support scholarship.
This involves working with a public initiative focusing on human rights and aging, in direct contact with services and social demands that require preparation, listening, and a commitment to serving in the locations defined by the project.
Selection Stages and Notice Criteria
The selection process is presented as a selection for scholarship holders and, therefore, tends to evaluate the profile, documentation, and trajectory of the candidate, according to the criteria established in the notice.
In the campus communication, the guidance is that interested parties consult the complete call to verify requirements by role, selection criteria, amounts, required documentation, deadlines, and stages.
In addition to meeting deadlines, compatibility with the area of activity is highlighted as a relevant element.
IFSP indicates that an affinity for human rights, aging, popular education, and public policies is expected, and that previous experiences with vulnerable populations may differentiate candidates.
How to Apply
Applications must be made exclusively online, between February 2 and 12, using the link indicated in the notice published by the Diadema Campus of IFSP.
The guidance is to read the complete call, gather the required documentation, and fill out the form corresponding to the intended role, as the campus consolidates information regarding requirements, deadlines, and stages in the notice.
