The Fiat Fire engine was a pioneer in its time, being the first from the Italian brand to be assembled on a robotic line, which increased production efficiency and reduced costs. Its history dates back to 1985 in Europe, and it arrived in Brazil in 2000, replacing the Fiasa engines in models such as Uno, Palio, and Siena.

Over the years, the Fire engine underwent various evolutions to remain competitive and meet market demands. In 2010, the Fire Evo was launched, with significant improvements in performance and efficiency.
