Complete List of Best-Selling Cars
In the last month, 6,705 fully electric vehicles and light commercial vehicles were registered. The best-selling among them was again the BYD Dolphin Mini, with 3,143 units. This means the battery-powered compact sold more than the renowned Toyota Corolla (3,104).
Also discussing electric vehicles, in the four-month period (January to April), total registrations reached 20,832. Despite the huge percentages, which result from a low comparative base, the growth of electric vehicles in the Brazilian automotive industry tends to be more gradual but is gradually strengthening, especially in large urban centers, according to Fenabrave’s president, Andreta Jr.

What Are the Best-Selling Cars Among New Releases?
Among the new releases, the one that performed the best was the Chevrolet Spin facelift. The model already has a loyal customer base and good improvements, ensuring an increase in sales that kept it as the best-selling seven-seater vehicle in the country.
The Renault Kardian has not yet grown enough to trouble rivals Fiat Pulse and VW Nivus, but it already represents an increase compared to what was previously seen with the Sandero and Logan. Its sibling Duster, updated in January, is also experiencing growth in sales.
However, the standout in the beginning of 2024 has been the Caoa Chery Tiggo 7. Since the launch of the Sport version for R$ 134,990, the medium SUV has been climbing in the ranking of the best-selling cars—enough to surpass its cheaper sibling Tiggo 5X.
