Marcos Pordeus, CEO of Frigo King, reveals that the current scenario sparks interest from companies in transitioning to urban distribution through electric vehicles. “Our engineering team accepted the challenge of developing equipment compatible both with the batteries of vehicles in transit and with the electrical grid while parked,” highlights Pordeus.

Strategic Partnership with Danfoss

To optimize the refrigeration system of electric trucks, the solution came with the frequency converters from Danfoss – the VLT AutomationDrive FC-302. This equipment stands out for its ability to control various types of motors, offering energy savings, flexibility, and efficiency.

Lucas Caligaris, sales engineer at Danfoss, points out the benefits of this choice: “The embedded configuration in the drive simplifies the process and minimizes the need for external components, ensuring stability even in the face of voltage fluctuations.”

For Frigo King, collaborating with Danfoss was a milestone. “This advancement not only opened doors to a new market but also strengthened our global technological position, aligning us with European and global trends,” concludes Pordeus.
