A Frigo King, an exponent in the global refrigerated transport market and present in more than 20 nations, raises the standard of Brazilian industry with its expertise in ensuring adequate temperatures for a variety of loads – from food to flowers.

Electrification on the transport route

With the growing desire for greener and more efficient alternatives, Frigo King presents the EPS – Electric Power System. This innovative system is adapted to the company's product line, making them compatible with electric trucks.

Marcos Pordeus, CEO of Frigo King, reveals that the current scenario arouses companies' interest in the transition to urban distribution through electric vehicles. “Our engineering team accepted the challenge of developing equipment compatible with both the batteries of vehicles in transit and the electrical grid when parked”, highlights Pordeus.

Strategic partnership with Danfoss

To optimize the refrigeration system of electric trucks, the solution came with frequency converters from Danfoss – the VLT AutomationDrive FC-302. This equipment stands out for its ability to control different types of motors, offering energy savings, flexibility and efficiency.

Lucas Caligaris, sales engineer at Danfoss, points out the benefits of this choice: “The configuration embedded in the drive simplifies the process and minimizes the need for external components, guaranteeing stability even in the face of voltage fluctuations”.
