A Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP), linked to the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SCTI), announced the opening of 22.935 free places for undergraduate courses in the modality Distance Learning (EAD).
The selection process begins on the day February 6, 2025 at 10pm, and continues until April 7, 2025, 23:59 p.m..
The vacancies are distributed in 432 face-to-face centers, watching 373 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, including regions of the capital, interior and coast.

The initiative seeks to expand access to free public higher education, allowing students to qualify without having to attend face-to-face classes daily.
Free undergraduate courses at UNIVESP
UNIVESP offers nine higher education course options organized in three main academic axes:
Bachelor's Degree Axis
Letters;
Mathematics;
Pedagogy;
Computing Axis
Data Science
Computer Engineering
Information Technology
Business and Production Axis
Business Administration
Production Engineering
Technology in Management Processes
All courses are conducted by Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), a platform that allows students to access exclusive content, video classes, study materials and academic activities.
Despite being totally online, the courses have face-to-face support at the centers, where students can use computer labs, internet and academic support.
UNIVESP 2025 Entrance Exam Calendar
Start of registration: 06/02/2025, at 10 am;
Registration deadline: 07/04/2025, às 23h59;
Announcement of test locations: 09/05/2025, from 10 am;
Test date (objective + essay): 18/05/2025, at 13 am;
Beginning of classes: End of July 2025.
Candidates must prepare for a rigorous selection process, which includes objective test and essay.
For those who participated in the ENEM in the years 2022, 2023 or 2024, there is the possibility of add points to the evaluation.
Registration fee and exemption
The registration fee is R$47,50, but candidates who meet certain requirements may apply total exemption or discount:
- Total exemption: Available to candidates registered on Single (Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs).
- 50% reduction: For students who fall into the State Law No. 12.782 / 2007.
Registrations must be made exclusively through the official website: vestibular.univesp.br
Who can participate?
To apply for one of the vacancies, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
Have completed or be completing the High school until the enrollment period.
Enter the registration number of the ENEM 2022, 2023 or 2024, if you want to add extra points to the selection.
Declare yourself Black, Brown or Indigenous (PPI) or be a public school graduate to receive added score.
