Ifes Opens EAD Specialization Slots in Artificial Intelligence; Applications Open Until 2025 and Classes Scheduled for 2026.

The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo has opened new opportunities for those looking to advance in the technological field: Ifes opens EAD specialization slots in Artificial Intelligence, with 200 spots and a start date planned for February 2026.

The course will be conducted in a distance learning format (EAD), but will include mandatory in-person meetings at the support centers.

According to the announcement, the goal of the specialization is to prepare professionals capable of applying knowledge in Artificial Intelligence in complex contexts.

Over 390 hours, students will cover modules such as:

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence;

Exploratory Data Analysis;

Supervised Learning (Regression and Classification);

Unsupervised Learning;

Time Series Prediction;

Deep Learning;

Optimizations and Meta-heuristics.

Although it is EAD, all curricular components require in-person assessments, ensuring academic rigor and pedagogical support.

Who Can Enroll in the EAD Specialization in Artificial Intelligence

The selection is open to graduates in Engineering, Exact Sciences, Computer Science, Agrarian and Biomedical areas.

Essential requirements include:

a diploma recognized by the MEC;

access to a computer with internet;

residence in Espírito Santo.

Thus, the program aims to reach both beginners and professionals already active who wish to enhance their technical skills.

Registration and Selection: How to Participate in the New Postgraduate Program at Ifes

Applications for the EAD specialization in Artificial Intelligence will be available from November 19, 2024, to December 19, 2025, exclusively online, on the Ifes website.

The selection will be made through a Title Examination, called “Professional and Academic History,” with a maximum score of 100 points.

Therefore, candidates for the PPI and PcD quotas will also undergo a complementary verification procedure of the self-declaration.

The final result and the approval of registrations are expected by January 28, 2026.
