Partnership with MDS Will Direct Vacancies to Registered Individuals in the CadÚnico and Promote Socioeconomic Inclusion Across the Country
The JBS establishes an agreement with the federal government to offer job vacancies to beneficiaries of Bolsa Família, in an effort to integrate social assistance policies with formal job opportunities. The technical agreement was signed this Thursday (31), with an initial validity of two years.
The focus will be on candidates registered in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico), which gathers data on families in vulnerable situations in Brazil. The initiative has the potential to significantly increase access to the formal job market in regions where JBS already operates, with over 100 units and 158,000 employees in the country.
Partnership for Social Transformation
The cooperation agreement was formalized in São Paulo, in the presence of Minister Wellington Dias (Social Development and Assistance), JBS CEO Gilberto Tomazoni, and advisor Wesley Batista. According to the executives, the expectation is to join forces to strengthen communities through job and income generation.

To enable the inclusion of beneficiaries in the selection processes, the MDS will be responsible for coordinating the social assistance network and facilitating data sharing with the company — all with the candidates’ consent and in accordance with the LGPD.
How Selection Will Work
JBS will be responsible for conducting the selection processes, while the government will cross-reference data to validate candidates’ eligibility. The proposal is to allow individuals in vulnerable situations to enter the market with dignity, autonomy, and growth prospects.
The minister Wellington Dias emphasized the importance of aligning social policies with economic strategies. “We cannot treat hunger separately from poverty, nor treat the two separately from the economy,” he stated. The company, in turn, asserts that investing in people is a long-term strategic pillar.
Productive Inclusion and Local Impact
The measure could have a direct impact on small and medium-sized municipalities where JBS operates, especially in the interior of states like Mato Grosso, Goiás, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Sul. In these locations, hiring local residents may reduce dependence on government aid and strengthen local economies.
The CadÚnico is the main database for social programs such as Bolsa Família, Social Tariff, and Gas Allowance, and currently has over 90 million registered individuals. The government’s expectation is that similar initiatives will also be adopted by other companies in the coming months.
