Free Registrations for Sisu 2026 Are from January 19 to 23, 2026 on the Single Access Portal for Higher Education
The MEC published the notice for Sisu 2026 with dates and rules for the selection process. Registrations will be free and can only be done online, at the Single Access Portal for Higher Education.
The Federal University of Viçosa, UFV is participating in this edition with 3,360 slots in 69 in-person undergraduate courses. The distribution includes the campuses of Viçosa, Florestal, and Rio Paranaíba.
The schedule also defines the next steps. The result of the regular call will be released on January 29, and the enrollment will begin on February 2, 2026.

What Are the Dates for Sisu 2026 and What Do Candidates Need to Do
The registration period for Sisu 2026 is from January 19 to 23, 2026. During these days, registration can be made and adjusted directly in the system, at no cost.
The regular call, also known as the first call, will be announced on January 29. From there, each institution defines how enrollment will be handled.
For those who are selected, enrollment must be completed starting February 2, 2026, following the days, times, and locations set by the chosen institution.
What Is the Offer from UFV in Sisu 2026
UFV will offer 3,360 slots in 69 in-person courses. The total is divided between 1,680 reserved slots and 1,680 slots for open competition.
The slots are distributed by campus. There are 2,390 at the Viçosa campus, 415 at the Florestal campus, and 555 at the Rio Paranaíba campus.
The university has also expanded its participation by including new undergraduate courses in this edition of the process.
New Courses Join the Selection and Expand Undergraduate Options
Five courses will now be part of the offerings related to the selection process. At the Rio Paranaíba campus, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence will be introduced.
At the Viçosa campus, Data Science and Robotics Engineering have been included. At the Florestal campus, Applied and Computational Mathematics and Environmental and Sanitary Engineering are being offered.
With these additions, UFV expands the options for those seeking admission to in-person courses within the system.
Who Can Register and What Enem Scores Are Valid
To participate in Sisu 2026, it is necessary to have completed high school and taken the Enem in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
The selection uses as a reference the score from the Enem edition that generates the best weighted average according to the course option. Participation as a trainee is not accepted for admission.
The Enem edition in which the candidate received a zero score in the essay will also not be considered, which prevents the use of that score in the process.
How to Choose Up to Two Options and How Classification Works
The edition of Sisu 2026 will have a single registration phase. Within the official period, the candidate can choose up to two course options.
These options can be changed or canceled during the registration period. In the end, only the last choice recorded in the system will be valid.
The selection occurs in only one of the options. Classification takes place in the 1st option when the score is sufficient or in the 2nd option when the score allows and there is no selection in the first.
Waiting List: Deadlines, Limits, and What Can Happen Next
Those who are not selected in the regular call, announced on January 29, can express interest in the waiting list. This registration must be made on the Single Portal until 11:59 PM on February 2.
The second call and subsequent invitations will consider the waiting list. In the case of UFV, the announcements and enrollment dates will be published on the university’s selection process website.
There is an important rule: the candidate can only express interest in the waiting list for only one of the courses chosen in the registration. Those selected in the regular call for one of the options cannot enter the list, even if they do not enroll.
What to Observe Before Finalizing Registration and Planning Enrollment
UFV advises interested parties to check the information on the university notice, with details about courses, schedules, and campuses of offer. It is also there that the enrollment schedule of the institution will be made available.
The waiting list guarantees only the expectation of access to the slot. Enrollment and academic registration depend on the availability of slots and the fulfillment of legal and regulatory requirements.
With the dates set, the recommendation is to monitor the calendar, review the chosen options, and remain attentive to enrollment and waiting list deadlines.
