After Leading the Largest Bible Distributor in Latin America, Businessman, in Partnership with Neymar Jr., Promises to Transform the Vehicle Insurance Market. Focusing on Classes C, D, and E, the Company Uses Technology to Offer Affordable Insurance and Plans to Expand into Other Latin American Countries.

Anyone looking for affordable automotive insurance knows how difficult it can be to find viable options, especially for app drivers, owners of modified cars, or vehicles purchased at auctions. Many insurance companies reject this demographic or charge exorbitant prices. However, a new company is changing this scenario.

From Bible Seller to Insurance Entrepreneur

Founded by Quézide Cunha, former owner of the largest Bible distributor in Latin America, Loovi bets on technology to make automotive insurance more accessible to classes C, D, and E.

Now, the company is taking a bold step with a new face for its campaign: Neymar Jr.

The soccer star has become the official ambassador of Loovi at a strategic moment.

With his return to Santos, the company is taking the opportunity to strengthen its presence in the national market and boost its expansion.

“Our contract with Neymar points us to the future. We are looking into other countries, and this partnership could accelerate our entry into the international scene”, Cunha stated in an interview with Exame.

Neymar and Visibility for the Insurance Market

With the new partnership, Loovi showcases its brand on the legendary 10 jersey of Santos, a number immortalized by Pelé.

Additionally, Neymar will be the face of the company in advertising campaigns and marketing actions. “We want to broaden access to insurance and convey this message more widely“, emphasized Cunha.

The contract with Neymar also aligns with the company’s growth. Loovi aims to establish itself among the 10 largest automotive insurers in Brazil by the end of 2025.

Two years ago, the company’s goal was to achieve a turnover of R$ 350 million by this period.

The Journey of Quézide Cunha

Quézide comes from a humble family in Ribeirão das Neves, Minas Gerais. At 14, he started working as a stock clerk in a Christian bookstore and gradually earned his place.

Three years later, he became an assistant manager, and over time, he became the majority partner in the company.

In charge of Ômega, he revolutionized the market by transforming the distributor into a wholesale retailer, investing in the in-house production of religious titles and items such as anointing oils.

I was the largest seller of Bibles in Latin America and became who I wanted to be, a prosperous person“, said Cunha.

In 2015, he decided to step back from the sector to take a year sabbatical, traveling and studying new markets.

It was during this period that he noticed the significant potential in the insurance sector, especially upon discovering that 73% of the national fleet lacked coverage.

The Birth of Loovi

Cunha’s first major analysis was on vehicle protection associations, an informal insurance model not regulated by the Superintendence of Private Insurance (Susep).

He realized that these associations had a differentiator: more personalized service and accessible communication.

These associations understand the customer better and speak their language. This was something traditional insurers did not see“, explained Cunha.

Loovi arose from this insight and went further, leveraging technology. Cunha spent time in China to study how the country utilized digitalization to reduce insurance costs.

As a result, the company adopted a simpler and more agile model.

In the end, we sell insurance like any other insurer: comprehensive insurance, theft and burglary coverage, 24-hour assistance, and glass protection.

The difference is that we do this in a faster and more accessible way, via an app“, Cunha explained to Exame.

Technology to Ease Consumer Life

One of Loovi’s differentiators is its simplified process. Unlike traditional insurers, the company does not require the vehicle plate before payment.

The system processes the purchase first and then automatically retrieves the necessary data, streamlining customer enrollment.

The app also allows for customizing insurance, enabling customers to choose which coverages they wish to purchase, making the product more accessible.

Additionally, an intelligent system monitors possible claims to offer fairer prices.

Lowered cars, auction vehicles, models that traditional insurers reject… They all have space at Loovi“, highlighted Cunha.

How Did Neymar Enter the Scene?

The partnership with Neymar happened unexpectedly. “I was at BMW delivering cars to my board when I received a call from Neymar’s father“, Cunha recounted.

The contact came through a mutual friend. Within hours, the contract was signed, and Loovi became the official sponsor of the 10 jersey of Santos, as well as securing Neymar as the global ambassador for the brand.

He has over 200 million followers and a huge influence. This is the biggest marketing investment we have ever made“, Cunha remarked to Exame.

International Expansion on the Horizon

The company is already studying its entry into Chile and Colombia, focusing on markets where insurance penetration is still low.

The goal is to leverage Neymar’s visibility to quickly expand its global presence.

Loovi’s goal by the end of 2025 is clear: to enter the ranking of the 10 largest automotive insurers in Brazil.

With an innovative model and a major name in football by its side, the company seems determined to achieve this goal.
