According to Fortune, the billionaire reportedly used the newly created Department of Governance Optimization and Efficiency (DOGE) to demand weekly reports from all federal employees, under the threat of immediate dismissal for failure to respond, according to the website Terra.
Mandatory Report in Elon Musk’s “Email”
The publication claims that the alleged email sent by Elon Musk to more than 2.3 million federal employees had the following subject line: “What Did You Do Last Week?”
In the body of Elon Musk’s message, it was requested that each employee report their activities from the previous week. If the email was not responded to within 48 hours, the lack of response would be interpreted as abandonment of duty.
