Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Patented in Brazil with 40 Hp Engine, Digital Dashboard, and ABS. Learn Everything About the Bike That Is Set to Launch Soon in the Country.

Bajaj has strengthened its strategy in the Brazilian market by registering the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) patent for the Pulsar NS400Z, the most anticipated model from the Indian brand. The approval confirms that the bike is getting closer to being launched in the country, consolidating Bajaj’s expansion in the medium displacement segment. According to information from the Motociclismo Online website (official source), the model already has guaranteed visual registration in Brazil, which is a crucial step before its arrival at dealerships.

As a result, expectations are growing that the Pulsar NS400Z will officially debut in 2025 or early 2026, expanding the brand’s lineup that currently includes the Dominar 160, 200, and 250.

40 Hp Engine and Performance to Compete with Yamaha and Kawasaki

The main attraction of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is its single-cylinder engine with 373.3 cm³, capable of delivering around 40 hp of power and 3.5 kgfm of maximum torque. This is the same setup used in KTM models, as Bajaj is a technology partner of the Austrian manufacturer.

This performance places the NS400Z directly in competition with bikes like the Yamaha MT-03 and Kawasaki Z400, heavyweight rivals in the medium displacement segment.

With a 6-speed gearbox and assisted slipper clutch, the aim is to provide consistent acceleration and sporty handling for both urban use and long trips.

Digital Dashboard, Connectivity, and Technology Package

Bajaj has heavily invested in the technology package of the Pulsar NS400Z. The model features a TFT digital dashboard that displays comprehensive riding information, fuel efficiency, and even connectivity with smartphones via Bluetooth.

This integration allows access to notifications, calls, and even turn-by-turn navigation, a feature increasingly common in premium bikes.

Another highlight is the dual-channel ABS braking system, which ensures greater safety during emergency braking. The bike is also expected to come equipped with riding modes, electronic throttle, and traction control, reinforcing its positioning as an accessible option loaded with technology.

Aggressive Design and Pulsar Identity

Visually, the Pulsar NS400Z follows the sporty naked style of the Pulsar line, but with more robust and modern touches. The LED headlight with a striking signature, muscular tank, and aggressive lines reinforce its identity as an urban and sporty motorcycle.

The chassis setup includes a upside-down telescopic front suspension, rear monoshock, and light alloy wheels shod with sporting tires, ensuring good stability and comfort. The ergonomics are designed to offer a balance between sportiness and comfort for daily use.

How Much Will the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Cost in Brazil?

Although there is no official price announced by Bajaj yet, the expectation is that the Pulsar NS400Z will be launched in Brazil at prices between R$ 28,000 and R$ 32,000, positioning itself as a more accessible alternative compared to Japanese rivals.

If this price is confirmed, the bike could quickly win over the Brazilian public, especially motorcyclists looking for a medium displacement motorcycle with good performance, onboard technology, and competitive cost-benefit.

Bajaj’s Expansion in Brazil

The arrival of the Pulsar NS400Z is part of Bajaj’s expansion strategy in the Brazilian market, initiated in 2022. The brand has been expanding its dealership network and has already achieved good acceptance with smaller models like the Dominar and Pulsar 200 NS.

With its debut in the 400 cc segment, Bajaj is set to compete directly with already established brands, offering consumers a variety of choices, competitive prices, and technology derived from its partnership with KTM.

If it can maintain aggressive pricing and good after-sales support, Bajaj has the potential to capture a significant share of the Brazilian medium displacement market, which is currently dominated by Japanese and European brands.
