Institution Evaluates Bringing Its Differentiated Service Package to Legal Entities, Focusing on Increasing Benefits
The Nubank, one of the largest digital financial institutions in Latin America, confirmed to the portal Tecnoblog that it is analyzing the possibility of bringing Ultravioleta services to the business segment.
Since the end of May 2025, Nu Empresas users began seeing the Ultravioleta seal in the app. This detail has sparked curiosity among entrepreneurs using the fintech’s corporate account.
According to information provided by Nubank’s communication team, only a small portion of business clients has had access to the experimental visibility of the feature.

This indicates that the integration is still in an early testing phase. Although the company has not set a timeline for the official launch, it emphasized that any relevant updates will be communicated in due course, in accordance with its communication policy.
While Nubank has not yet detailed which exclusive benefits would be offered to legal entities, the strategy seems to focus on expanding resources for clients with higher purchasing power.
This approach follows the already established Ultravioleta model for the individual sector since July 2021.
Ultravioleta Offers Premium Benefits for Individuals Since 2021
Launched nearly four years ago, Ultravioleta began as a premium credit card aimed at consumers with significant financial movement.
From the start, the package stood out for offering exclusive advantages. Among them is the waiver of the annual fee for clients with monthly spending starting from R$ 5,000 or minimum investments of R$ 50,000.
Over time, Nubank expanded the Ultravioleta offering to other company products. Currently, users have access to services such as a multi-currency global account, an international chip with internet allowance, and tags for toll payments.
Benefits also include access to the lounge at São Paulo International Airport (GRU). Thus, Ultravioleta presents itself as a robust solution for high-income audiences.
It has already established itself as a premium branch within Nubank’s financial ecosystem.

Nu Empresas May Gain Premium Version with Differentiated Subscription
Currently, Nu Empresas offers a structure focused on practicality, with no annual fees or administrative charges. The main services include transfers via Pix, movement control, and access to investments.
There are charges only for operations like issuing invoices and withdrawals with a debit card. With the arrival of Ultravioleta in the business environment, a new subscription model is expected to unlock additional resources.
This change may alter the charging profile of Nu Empresas. So far, the company has distinguished itself by the gratuity of most of its operations.
Although Nubank has not confirmed which tools will be available for legal entities, the introduction of Ultravioleta may signify the inclusion of high-value-added functionalities.
These features may include advanced financial management, priority support, and personalized services.
Testing with Business Audience Indicates New Strategic Positioning Phase
According to reports from entrepreneurs using Nu Empresas, the visibility of the Ultravioleta seal began to appear in the app starting May 30, 2025.
This change, while not currently providing practical features, signals that the fintech has initiated a phase of surveying with the target audience.
The goal is to assess the acceptance of the premium brand in the corporate environment. This movement aligns with Nubank’s recent strategy to diversify its customer base.
Furthermore, the company seeks to add value through personalized services. It is worth noting that Nubank has already surpassed 90 million customers in Brazil.
Therefore, by expanding its relationship with audiences of greater financial capacity, the digital bank strengthens its market position.
The possible implementation of Ultravioleta for businesses would reinforce this new positioning. This would place Nubank in line with practices adopted by institutions that offer segmented business services.

Prospects for Launch and Impact on the Digital Financial Services Sector
Although Nubank has not yet announced a specific date for the launch of the Ultravioleta in Nu Empresas, internal sources consulted by Tecnoblog in June 2025 indicate that the proposal has already undergone preliminary stages of development.
For now, the limited tests aim to enhance user experience. In addition, they serve to shape the future offer of premium services for businesses.
If the initiative is confirmed, the market may observe a new trend. Small and medium enterprises are expected to migrate to digital platforms that offer personalized and high-value services.
As a result, Nubank can increase its share in the PJ segment, traditionally dominated by traditional banks.
Industry analysts estimate that the integration of Ultravioleta into Nu Empresas may be formalized in the second half of 2025.
This movement would place the digital bank at the forefront of the market for business accounts with exclusive and personalized services.
