Red Bull Bragantino presented the project for the Red Bull Nabi Abi Chedid Arena on the morning of Tuesday, the 16th, a stadium that will replace the current Nabi Abi Chedid in Bragança Paulista, with a capacity for 20 thousand fans and an expected completion time between four and five years, without disclosed values.

The new stadium will be built at the same location as the old one and marks a new stage in the club’s project, which detailed structural features, social areas, services, and spaces aimed at the public, maintaining a natural grass field and fully covered stands.

Structure Designed for Matches, Events, and Multiple Audiences

The arena will have box seats, VIP seating, and an area designated for fans with autism, expanding service to different audience profiles. It will also feature a lounge, restaurant, bars, a kids’ area, and a specific space for hosting sports and corporate events.

The project includes an underground parking facility with more than 600 spots, a solution aimed at urban mobility around the stadium. In the external area, near the north section, there will be space for sports practice and outdoor events.

According to the club’s administrative director, André Rocha, the arena symbolizes a new institutional phase. “It is with great pleasure that we present the Red Bull Arena – Nabi Abi Chedid to our fans,” he stated, highlighting the regional impact and its use for national and international matches.

Demolition of the Old Stadium and Construction Schedule

The demolition of Nabi Abi Chedid began in September, starting with the removal of metal parts, followed by the tearing down of the stands. By October, all the stand structures were on the ground, advancing the initial schedule.

By the end of this year, the removal of the foundations of the old stadium is scheduled, a stage that precedes the start of earthworks, considered one of the most extensive in the o b ra, with large-scale excavations.

The club’s infrastructure manager, Elisabete Freitas, explained that the new structures are expected to begin to appear only by the end of 2026. “We have a large earthworks project to be done here,” she said, mentioning intense excavation at the site.

She added that the stadium should use precast concrete. “When the structures arrive, we will start assembling them, and it will be visible going up,” stated Elisabete Freitas, indicating a visible start of construction between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027, despite a slight natural delay in the timeline.
