With Himalayan Engine, but Tuned for More Torque, New Naked Focuses on Agility and TFT Dashboard with GPS to Conquer the Market.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been officially launched in Brazil, positioning itself as a new and strong competitor in the medium-displacement naked segment. With an aggressive starting price of R$ 28,990, the model bets on a flat-track style, agile chassis, and a technology package that includes a TFT dashboard with GPS mirroring. The first impressions and technical details were shared by YouTuber Rodolfinho da Z directly from the launch event held at the Kartódromo Aldeia da Serra in São Paulo.

Introduced to the Brazilian public at the 2025 Interlagos Festival, the new motorcycle uses the same engine platform as the successful Himalayan 450, but don’t be fooled: the proposal here is completely different. While its sister is focused on adventure, the Guerrilla 450 was designed for the pavement, with adjustments prioritizing torque delivery at low RPMs and superior agility for urban traffic and winding roads, targeting an audience seeking performance and design in an accessible package.

Sherpa 450 Engine: Known Power, New Response

The heart of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is the already known 450cc Sherpa engine. It is a single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling that delivers 40 horsepower, the same figure as the Himalayan. However, as noted by Rodolfinho da Z, the great differential lies in the new tuning of the electronic fuel injection map. This change was designed to radically alter the bike’s behavior, providing more power at low and medium RPMs.

Unlike the Himalayan, where peak power is felt at higher RPMs, the Guerrilla 450 responds much earlier to the throttle. This translates into a more vigorous ride in urban settings, with quicker launches from traffic lights and faster accelerations. The model features electronic throttle (ride-by-wire) and offers two riding modes: “Performance”, for a more immediate response, and “Economical,” to optimize fuel consumption.

Chassis Focused on Urban Agility

With a minimalist flat-track inspired design, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 combines the classic round LED headlight with modern lines and an agile stance, creating an urban and rebellious visual identity.

The personality of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is defined by its chassis. The frame has been designed with a shorter wheelbase, which, according to initial impressions, makes the bike “sensational” for cornering. Agility is complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, shod with wider tires that ensure greater grip and stability in corners.

The braking system, featuring BYBRE calipers and ABS on both wheels, is also inherited from the Himalayan. However, an important detail is that the ABS system on the Guerrilla 450 cannot be turned off, reinforcing its strictly on-road vocation and differentiating it from models with off-road proposals. This configuration aims to ensure maximum safety in emergency braking in urban environments.

Technology and Standard Items Included

One of the main highlights of the launch is undoubtedly its dashboard. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 comes equipped with a fully digital dashboard on a rounded color TFT screen, featuring two viewing themes. The star feature is the “Tripper Dash” functionality, allowing Bluetooth connection with the rider’s smartphone to mirror information, including a complete GPS navigation system via Google Maps.

As pointed out by Rodolfinho da Z, there is an important caveat regarding the use of GPS: it only works with the cell phone screen unlocked. If the device is locked, navigation on the dashboard is interrupted. In addition to the technology, the bike comes from the factory with practical items like a folded suspension protector (dust cover) and the center stand in all versions, an accessory that greatly facilitates vehicle maintenance and parking.

Design, Finish, and Points of Attention

The visual of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is one of its main attractions. The lighting is full LED, featuring a round headlight, turn signals, and a multifunctional taillight that integrates brake light and indicators. The exhaust is shorter and more compact than that of the Himalayan, and the fuel tank has an aircraft-style fuel filler located on the right for easier complete refueling when the bike is on its side stand.

Although the overall finish is praised, Rodolfinho da Z’s analysis pointed out some details that deserve attention. The pillion seat was considered narrow and somewhat hard, potentially causing discomfort on long journeys. Additionally, two finishing details were noted: a protector for the rear brake pump that, being too far away, may cause constant friction with the rider’s leg, and a visible gap in the headlight fairing, where, according to him, “a frame is missing.”

Versions and Prices in the Brazilian Market

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 arrives in Brazil in two lines, differing only by colors and graphics, maintaining all equipment and accessories standard in both.

The first option is the solid color, available in Bronze and Gray, with a suggested retail price of R$ 28,990. The second option, with two-tone paint, costs R$ 29,490, a difference of just R$ 500. The combinations include a vibrant yellow with black and purple details, and a version with blue and white graphics, which also has the chassis and front wheel painted blue.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 enters the Brazilian market with a clear proposal: to offer a stylish, agile naked motorcycle equipped with technology at a highly competitive price. Its strengths are the engine with good torque at low, the fun chassis, and standard items like the TFT dashboard with GPS and the center stand. Although it presents small finishing details that can be improved, its overall package positions it as a seriously considered option.

What do you think of the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450? Do you think the price and equipment make it a strong competitor to other nakeds in the Brazilian market? Leave your opinion in the comments; we want to know what enthusiasts think in practice.
