The arrival of Iranian Navy ships in Brazil has had negative repercussions for the past few days on the international scene. The US White House warned the national government about the country's activities after authorization by the Brazilian Navy.

The tension between the United States and Iran continues to spill over into Brazilian territory. This was because the Brazilian Navy had authorized the docking of some Iranian Navy warships in national territory. Thus, the spokeswoman of the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre, warned the Brazilian government about the activities of Iranians in Brazil, showing fear and lack of security.

Arrival of Iranian Navy ships in Brazil after approval by the Brazilian Navy continues to cause tension with the United States, which has spoken through the White House

In recent weeks, the Brazilian Navy, with the approval of the Federal Government, announced the authorization for the arrival of some warships of the Iranian Navy to the national territory.

However, this decision has been highly criticized by some countries around the world, mainly the United States, who had already alerted and asked Brazil not to accept the docking.

Now, the White House has issued an alert to the Brazilian Government regarding the activities of Iranian sailors in national territory. Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre showed fear and insecurity regarding the operations.

According to her, the presence of the Iranian Navy in Brazilian territory threatens international security, since both countries have conflicts that have been signed for some decades.

For her, warships authorized by the Brazilian Navy to dock in national territory represent a threat to the maritime safety.

She said: “Hosting Iranian naval vessels belonging to a regime that is brutally repressing its people and supplying Russia with weapons to use in the war against Ukraine and engaged in terrorism and weapons proliferation around the world sends the wrong message in the wrong direction.” .

Other representatives of the United States Government had already commented on the Brazilian Navy's decision and regarding the arrival of the Iranian Navy in the country.

The warnings were not heeded by the agency, which is now reaping the consequences of its latest decisions in world geopolitics.

Alert from the White House to the Federal Government regarding the presence of Iranian Navy ships in Brazil reinforces conflicts between both foreign countries

The geopolitical situation between the United States and Iran has been quite complicated and not positive for several years now. However, it has intensified in recent years, with incidents involving tankers and seizures of ships by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Thus, requests from the United States for the non-permanence of Iranian Navy ships in Brazil reinforce the defense position in relation to the activities of the foreign country.

Since these incidents, the US has taken a firm stance on Iran's oil trade, suspending the purchase of oil.

However, the national government, through the Brazilian Navy, continues with the authorizations granted to Iranian Navy ships for free movement and docking in the national territory.
