About the Aprenda Mais Platform
Created by the MEC and managed by the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (Setec), Aprenda Mais brings together online, open, and massive (Mooc) courses offered by institutions from the Federal Network.
The initiative is the result of a partnership with the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) and the National Teaching and Research Network (RNP).
Since its launch, the platform has recorded over two million enrollments, establishing itself as a public hub for short-term qualification.

Governance and Updating of Offers
The management of the environment began in 2024 with a new composition of the Management Committee defined by Ordinance No. 7, of March 5, 2024, reinforcing the monitoring of offers and the evaluation of the ecosystem.
The MEC also maintains notices for selecting new courses, ensuring constant renewal of content and meeting demands for professional qualification.
Covered Areas and Target Audience
The training programs cover the areas of Environment and Health, Exact Sciences, Human Sciences, Educational and Social Development, Management and Business, Information and Communication, Infrastructure, Food Production, Cultural Production and Design, Natural Resources, Safety, and Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure.
The target audience is broad, including students, workers, and managers, with pathways that combine conceptual and practical foundations for immediate application in work and studies.
Workload and Operation of Courses
Each course provides workload, completion deadlines, and minimum requirements (such as internet access and reading in Portuguese).
The majority of classes are self-instructional and without tutoring, with module guidance and automated assessments.
In general, the certificate is available after completing the required content and passing the mandatory activities.
How to Enroll in Courses
Interested individuals should access the Aprenda Mais platform, create a free account, and choose the desired training program.
There is no selection process or limit on enrollments per person: it is possible to start a single course or several at the same time, according to the participant’s availability.
