Get Ready, Because We’re Going to Break Down Every Detail of This Giant That Promises to Shake the Brazilian Market! The Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 Arrived with Pomp and Circumstance, but You Must Be Wondering: Is This SUV Really Unstoppable? Does It Perform Well? Drinks a Lot? And, of Course, Has the Price Gone Up? All These Questions Will Be Answered in Detail, but Before Anything Else, I Need to Give You the Spoiler: The Price Has Gone Up and Has Already Started to Generate Some Talk!
Let’s get to the point: the Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 didn’t come to play. Besides exhibiting a look that mixes aggressiveness and sophistication, like the new Big Diamond grille and the wheels that look like they were taken from a Porsche 911 Turbo S, it promises plenty of performance and comfort.
Does the Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 Perform Well?
Now, the question that won’t go away: does the Caoa Chery deliver what it promises? The Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 comes equipped with a 1.6 TGDI engine with 187 horsepower, accompanied by a 7-speed DCT gearbox, making it an agile SUV for its size. According to tests, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in a precise 9 seconds. Not bad for a seven-seater SUV weighing over 1,600 kg.
Driving the Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 is an experience that surprises with the gearbox’s lightness and quick response, especially in Sport mode. Of course, it’s not a pure sports car, but the firmer grip on the steering and handling in curves are impressive. Compared to competitors like the Jeep Commander and the Tiguan R-Line, it delivers very similar performance but at a much lower cost. That’s where the magic happens.

Ducati brings to Brazil the Superleggera V4 Centenario: 228 hp that become 247 with a track kit, carbon fiber and carbon-ceramic brakes, estimated price between R$ 1.5 and 2 million, deliveries only in 2027.
Drinks a Lot?
Now, let’s talk about fuel consumption: does it drink a lot? The fuel consumption of the Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 isn’t the most economical in the segment, but it won’t leave you pulling your hair out. In the city, it averaged 9.6 km/l, while on the highway it reached 13.9 km/l. Nothing revolutionary, but quite competitive for the weight and power it offers. The 51-liter tank provides interesting autonomy, ensuring that you can drive nearly 700 km without needing to stop at a gas station. For a seven-seater SUV, these numbers are satisfactory.
And the Price? Has It Gone Up Yet?
Now, let’s talk about what really gets to the heart (and the wallet): the price. The Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 was launched with a base price of R$ 188,888, but in less than 20 days, it jumped to R$ 194,990. The famous law of supply and demand in action!
It’s that case: whoever buys first always pays less. The good news is that, even with the increase, the Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 remains a bargain compared to similar SUVs that can cost up to R$ 90,000 more.
Complete SUV in Brazil
If you are looking for a complete SUV, with plenty of space, good performance, and packed with technology, the Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 2025 might be exactly what you need. Of course, it’s not perfect, but at the price it’s being offered, it’s hard to find a competitor that delivers so much for the same value. The Caoa Chery engine, despite drinking a bit more than some rivals, delivers performance on par.
And the best part: with all its qualities, it could very well be the SUV with the best cost-benefit in the Brazilian market today. So, the final question is: are you up for it?
