The Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo (MP-SP) has launched the announcement for the 2025 contest, offering positions for the role of Prosecutor Analyst II, in the specialty of Prosecutor Agent. This is one of the most awaited selections of the year, not only due to the number of opportunities but also because of the attractive salary and the benefits package offered.
With an initial salary of R$ 13,581.75 and guaranteed stability through public service, the competition attracts interest from professionals with higher education in various fields.
In addition to immediate vacancies, a reserve list will be formed for future convocations.

Job Description and Distribution by Regions
The contest offers 15 immediate vacancies distributed across macro-regions of the State of São Paulo, covering the capital, coast, and inland areas.
This distribution expands the range of possibilities for candidates, who can choose testing and posting locations closer to their homes.
Macro-Region I – Headquarters in the Capital
Covers the city of São Paulo, Greater São Paulo, Santos, and Vale do Ribeira. There are 6 positions in general competition, plus 1 for people with disabilities and 2 for black candidates, totaling 9 opportunities.
Macro-Region II – Headquarters in Campinas
Covers the areas of Campinas and Taubaté, with 1 position in general competition, plus a reserve list.
Macro-Region III – Headquarters in Piracicaba
Includes the regions of Piracicaba and Sorocaba, with 1 immediate vacancy and a reserve list.
Macro-Region IV – Headquarters in Bauru
Comprises Araçatuba, Bauru, and Presidente Prudente. There are 2 positions in general competition.
Macro-Region V – Headquarters in Ribeirão Preto
Covers Franca, Ribeirão Preto, and São José do Rio Preto, with 2 vacancies available.
The geographical diversity reinforces the capillarity of MP-SP and increases the chances of placement for those approved in different locations.
Salary and Benefits of the Position
The initial salary for the Prosecutor Agent is R$ 13,581.75, composed of two parts: a basic salary of R$ 5,161.22 and a prosecutor’s bonus of R$ 8,420.53. Additionally, the employee receives benefits that significantly increase the net salary:
- Food Allowance: R$ 1,450.00 per month
- Transportation Allowance: R$ 17.80 per day worked
- Health Allowance: reimbursement of up to R$ 2,037.26 for medical and dental expenses
The weekly working hours are 40 hours, allowing the employee to balance professional and personal routines with stability and financial security.
Requirements to Participate
To apply, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field, be at least 18 years old, be up to date with electoral obligations, and, in the case of men, also with military obligations.
Proof of integrity and good conduct is also required, aspects evaluated during the social investigation phase.
How to Register for the MP-SP Contest?
Registration will be conducted exclusively through the Foundation VUNESP website (www.vunesp.com.br), the organizing body of the contest.
The registration period runs from 10 AM on August 14 until 11:59 PM on September 15, 2025.
The registration fee is R$ 181.00.
However, the announcement provides total exemption for blood donors and a 50% reduction for low-income students enrolled in pre-college, undergraduate, or graduate courses, who earn up to two minimum wages or are unemployed.
Requests for exemptions and reductions must be made on August 14 and 15.
Selection Process Stages
The contest will consist of four distinct phases, combining objective, essay, and practical assessments, in order to select candidates with a technical profile and in-depth knowledge.
- Objective Test – eliminatory and classificatory character
It will consist of 90 multiple-choice questions, distributed as follows:- Portuguese Language: 10 questions
- Mathematics: 4
- Logical Reasoning: 4
- Current Affairs: 4
- Computer Science: 4
- Constitutional Law and Public Ministry: 15
- Administrative Law: 10
- Criminal Law: 20
- Criminal Procedure Law: 15
- General Theory of Accounting Sciences: 4
- Essay Test – eliminatory and classificatory character
It will consist of three tasks:- Essay question on Criminal Law
- Essay question on Criminal Procedure Law
- Technical writing involving Constitutional Law and Public Ministry
- Social Investigation – eliminatory character
This stage verifies the conduct and moral integrity of the candidate. - Oral Test – eliminatory and classificatory character
The candidate will answer five questions covering topics in Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Public Ministry, Criminal Law, Special Criminal Legislation, and Criminal Procedure Law.
Important Dates and Application of MP-SP Tests
The objective test will be held on the morning of November 23, 2025, lasting 4 hours with the possibility of leaving after 2 hours. The essay test will take place on the same day, in the afternoon, lasting 3 hours.
The application locations will be disclosed by VUNESP, and candidates must monitor the publication of the confirmation card to check the address, time, and room.
