The UEMG opens 450 places in distance learning undergraduate courses for candidates who have completed high school and wish to start a free higher education in Minas Gerais.

Thus, the selection, which runs until December 11, 2025, will be conducted entirely online, covering campuses in various regions of the state.

To participate, interested candidates need to register on the official university website and use the scores from Portuguese Language and Mathematics in the selection process.

Thus, the offering includes courses in Municipal Public Management, Sustainable Tourism Management, and Library Science, all with campuses strategically distributed to serve different municipalities in Minas Gerais.

What Courses Are Included in the 450 Places Offered by UEMG

The opportunities provided by the university encompass three undergraduate programs.

Thus, UEMG opens 450 places in undergraduate courses with specific distribution among the institution’s in-person campuses.

Municipal Public Management: 100 Places

The undergraduate course in Technology of Municipal Public Management offers 100 places and will be taught by the UEMG unit in Leopoldina. The accredited campuses to welcome students are located in the municipalities of:

Conselheiro Lafaiete;

Durandé;

Ibirité;

Jaboticatubas;

Três Marias.

This course aims to train professionals capable of working in public administration, focusing on public policies and efficient management of municipal services.

Sustainable Tourism Management: 100 Places Distributed Across 5 Campuses

Another area covered is Sustainable Tourism Management, also with 100 places. They will be distributed evenly among the campuses:

Belo Horizonte;

Cambuí;

Carangola;

Rio Pardo de Minas;

São João del-Rei.

This degree prepares students to develop tourism practices aligned with sustainability, which is essential for destinations seeking responsible growth and long-term planning.

Library Science: 150 Places in Five Municipalities in Minas Gerais

The third course offered is the Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, which includes 150 places, divided among five campuses, each with 30 opportunities. The participating municipalities are:

Divinópolis;

Ibirité;

Poços de Caldas;

Sabará;

Salinas.

This training equips professionals to work in the organization, dissemination, and management of informational collections in different institutions.

How the Selection for the 450 Places Opened by UEMG Works

To participate in the selection, candidates must have completed high school.

Just like in previous years, the university will use grades from Portuguese Language and Mathematics as criteria for classification, facilitating participation for those seeking to enter free higher education without the need for in-person exams.

Additionally, it is essential that the candidate carefully reads the notice available on the official portal.

The deadline ends on December 11, 2025, and the registration fee is R$ 80.
