The operation is simple but technically sophisticated. When the user accesses a conversation with several new messages since the last view, a discreet icon appears at the exact point where the chat was interrupted. Feature Is Optional And Does Not Alter The Default Experience
The access button for the summary is optional and appears subtly within the conversation window. It does not replace traditional reading and is only activated when the user decides to use it. Thus, those who prefer to navigate manually through the messages will continue to have the same experience as before.
When generating a summary, the app displays the message “shown only to you”, making it clear that no contact is notified about the use of the feature. This preserves privacy and avoids misunderstandings — especially in large groups, where updates can be interpreted in different ways.
