Present In Almost The Whole South America And With Strong Tradition In Brazilian Territory, The Subsidiary Of The Freudenberg Group Will Change Its Manufacturing System To Gain More Agility And Optimization In Operations
May, 2021 – EagleBurgmann Brazil, a subsidiary of the Freudenberg Group, announces the relocation of its headquarters from Campinas (SP) to a new factory in Valinhos (SP), scheduled for completion in November 2021. This timeline still depends on the signing of documents and licenses, which may extend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision involved strategic criteria based, among other things, on the Freudenberg Group’s commitment to promoting business and operational synergies among its different Business Units. With the move to Valinhos, the company will be the third of the Group in the city, which already hosts, in the same industrial district, the plants of Chem-Trend and SurTec.
The new factory will occupy a 12,375 m² plot and will feature a built area of 3,208 m². There will also be 1,000 m² prepared for future expansion. It was designed based on concepts of environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, modernity, comfort of facilities, and increased production capacity, resulting from the acquisition of more modern machines, a more rational layout, and the possibility of shift work.

“Retaining our talents is an absolutely relevant premise of this project, aligned with our principles and values, recognizing people as a significant differentiator of our company,” comments Rodrigo Vilela, General Director of EagleBurgmann for Latin America.
As a clear demonstration by EagleBurgmann and the Freudenberg Group of their commitment to ongoing investment strategies in Brazil and South America, approximately R$ 20 million will be invested directly in the new factory, including the purchase of the land, construction of the factory, machines, and equipment.
“We will also make investments in new equipment, which will allow for the modernization of the manufacturing park and faster response times to our customers, as well as other equally important aspects for the business, such as operational efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability,” concludes Vilela.
