Subsea 7 is a Norwegian company, headquartered in the United Kingdom, a global leader in delivering offshore projects and services for the evolving energy industry. More precisely, services involving subsea engineering and operation of PLSVs, boats for line launching. In Brazil, it currently has over a thousand employees.

Job Opening for Marine Electrician in Rio de Janeiro, RJ

Requirements: Technical Degree in Electrical, Electronics or similar; Experience in electrical maintenance of the machine room, VFD and PLC; STCW 95; CIR; Intermediate English.
Main Responsibilities: Maintenance of all lifeboat and firefighting equipment, as instructed by the Master; Ensure that the electrical/electronic equipment of any company or client mobilized onboard is suitable and compatible with the vessel’s electrical material; Ensure that the above equipment complies with the rules and regulations for electrical equipment; Maintain a stock of spare parts for electrical/electronic equipment; Keep a detailed record of all maintenance performed; Perform other auxiliary tasks assigned to him, carrying out activities with guidance from his immediate supervisor.

Job Opening for Technical Internship in Rio das Ostras, RJ

Requirements: Must be pursuing a Technical degree in Electronics; Enrollment must be active with an expected graduation period of at least 1 year; Intermediate English; Knowledge of Excel.
Main Responsibilities: The intern will work under supervision in one of the electronic, mechanical or hydraulic tools maintenance workshops, following the maintenance of ROV equipment.

Job Opening for Deckhand in Rio de Janeiro, RJ

Requirements: Offshore experience in the role; Deckhand II/4; Intermediate English preferred.
Some of the Main Responsibilities: Maintenance of all lifeboat and firefighting equipment, as instructed by the Master; Prepare and paint the vessel as needed; Secure and tie down deck cargo or equipment on deck; Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment; Wash the vessel externally; Clean specified internal areas during watch periods; Operate DP reference systems as instructed by the DPO; Attend to the helipad as part of the fire crew and as a baggage handler; Conduct night watch in port as needed; Perform general deck work as needed.
