Ceará’s White Wing Offshore Wind Farm is Expected to Start Operations Mid-2025
In order for Ceará’s first offshore wind farm to come to fruition, investments of R$ 12 billion were made. The offshore wind farm in Ceará has a capacity of 900MW, and the first three years of operation will include expansions.

Project Financing in Ceará
All resources for the construction of Ceará’s first offshore wind farm are entirely the responsibility of Eólica Brasil.
The CEO of Eólica Brasil also adds that this is a new initiative and that many within the Brazilian renewable energy sector feel a certain fear of investing in the offshore wind energy market.
Pecém Port
In addition to the construction of the offshore wind farm in Ceará, Eólica Brasil is also in negotiations with Pecém Port and the regional government.
“Although it is our initiative, the dock would be open to other offshore farms that may need it,” points out the CEO of Eólica Brasil.
