Company Presented The Best Price In The Bid To Interconnect The Gas Spheres That Will Be Processed By The UPGN At Comperj
Actemium won the bid opened by Petrobras to undertake the interconnection services of the spheres that will store the pre-salt gas after it is processed by the future UPGN at Comperj.
After a week in which there was much discussion about the planning by Petrobras to build a thermoelectric plant in place of Comperj, to take advantage of the gas processed by the UPGN as fuel, the company continues to move forward with the project regarding the gas plant, which will be built by Kerui.
According to reports, Actemium’s proposal was R$ 103 million and about 22% lower, since the second place was the consortium formed by Tridimensional and Milplan, with a proposal of R$ 133 million.

The works for the interconnection of the spheres come from a tender in 2011, in which Petrobras signed a contract with Jaraguá for the development of the executive project, civil construction, and electromechanical assembly of the interconnections, substations, and the vapor combustion system for the tanking area.
Old Scope
The electromechanical assembly of the interconnections consisted of interconnecting 49 tanks, five vessels, six spheres, in addition to four substations.
The scope of the work involved the manufacture and installation of approximately 4,200 tons of piping, 40,000 cubic meters of concrete for the structures, and 730 km of electric cables, with an execution period of 900 calendar days.
However, as Jaraguá entered judicial recovery in 2014, it is estimated that the work was about 50% completed and today it is estimated that the company has debts in the range of 1 billion reais.
It is worth noting that the company was one of the first affected by the Lava Jato operation and by the prohibition of negotiations with Petrobras.
