The Agency Intends to Approve the Programs in Time for the Auction, Scheduled for Next Month
The ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) expects to approve the decommissioning programs (PDI’s) for the P-07 and P-15 platforms in time for the auction, which is set for July 9.

The P-12, which already had its PDI approved by the agency, will also participate in the bidding. According to the ANP, the programs for the other two Petrobras units are still under analysis.

According to the agency, despite the expectation of approval of the plans, it is possible to hold the auction even before the PDI approval. For some analysts, the new regulation concerning the decommissioning of platforms did not clarify this aspect. “The auction can be held before the PDI approval. What cannot happen is the removal of the platform before the PDI approval (by the ANP, Ibama, and Navy),” clarified the agency.
DOF Group Signs New Contracts with Petrobras
In addition to announcing a new contract with Solstad this Tuesday (16), Petrobras also signed an agreement with the DOF Group for the chartering of vessels from its maritime support fleet to operate in oil and gas exploration and production activities in Brazil’s offshore sector.
The vessels belong to and are operated by Norskan and DOF Subsea Brasil and will be responsible for ROV operations. Both companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the global company DOF ASA.
