New PULSAR NS 400Z UG Brings 43 HP Engine, Quickshifter, and Digital Dashboard, Promising to Dominate the 400cc Motorcycle Segment in 2025 with Technology and Competitive Pricing.

The Pulsar NS 400Z UG was officially unveiled in India and promises to shake up the market for powerful 400cc motorcycles in 2025. The new Pulsar 400Z arrives with no changes to its appearance, but with important updates in technology, equipment, and performance, ensuring a prominent position in the compact naked segment.

Manufactured by Bajaj, the Pulsar NS 400Z UG now includes a bidirectional quickshifter, new electronic configurations, and improved brakes, maintaining its proposal to be an affordable yet equipped option for those seeking performance in everyday use. With the launch, expectations grow for the motorcycle’s arrival in Brazil, where the Pulsar 400Z could have a competitive price, positioning itself below the Dominar 400 in the brand lineup.

More Powerful and with Technology from Bigger Motorcycles

The NS 400Z update includes a 373 cm³ engine, already known in the Bajaj lineup, with 43 hp and 3.5 kgfm of torque, providing quick responses and rapid accelerations in traffic. The six-speed transmission, now with a quickshifter, and the assisted and slipper clutch add more smoothness and sportiness to the ride.

Performance has been enhanced: the model goes from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.7 seconds (previously, 3.2 s) and from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds (previously, 7.5 s). The top speed has also increased to 157 km/h, according to data released in India.

Suspension, Brakes, and Connectivity

The modern 2025 Pulsar retains the 43 mm inverted front suspension with golden forks and an adjustable monoshock at the rear, ensuring stability and good handling in curves. The brakes have received sintered pads, improving braking efficiency in different conditions.

The digital dashboard has been updated, bringing smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Call and message alerts are also available, bringing the riding experience of the Pulsar 400Z closer to that of premium models.

Wider Tires for Stability and Grip

Another important point in the update is the adoption of a wider rear tire (150 mm), increasing the contact patch with the ground and providing more safety and stability, especially in curves and at high speeds. The front tire remains at 110/70 17-inch, a combination that maintains the balance of the setup.

Competitive Pricing May Encourage the Brazilian Market

In India, the new Pulsar 400Z was launched with an increase of 7,000 rupees compared to the previous model, equivalent to around R$ 400 in direct conversion. As a result, the local price of the model is around R$ 12,200, an amount that, even adjusted for taxes and local costs, could position it below the Dominar 400 if its arrival in Brazil is confirmed.

The new Pulsar 400Z could become one of the most sought-after options in the national market, combining power, technology, and competitive pricing, appealing to both beginners in larger displacement motorcycles and motorcyclists looking for a practical and sporty model for urban and highway use.

Official Launch and Expectations

The motorcycle has already begun to arrive at dealerships in India, even before being available on Bajaj’s official website, reinforcing public interest in the model. The expected arrival in Brazil has not yet been confirmed, but there is hope that the Pulsar NS 400Z UG will be available in 2025, retaining the same characteristics that make it an appealing option in its segment.

While Bajaj evaluates market positioning, Brazilian consumers eagerly await the arrival of the modern 2025 Pulsar, which combines aggressive styling, a powerful engine, and technologies typically seen in more expensive models, solidifying the DNA of the Pulsar line as a benchmark in cost-effectiveness.

O bom que essas marcas fazem lançamento na Índia e trás para o Brasil, ao contrário das marcas que dominam o nosso mercado, e não fazem o mesmo
