Brazilian Company Stands Out by Participating in the C-390 Millennium Freighter and the Praetor 600 Jet, Reinforcing Its Prominent Position in the Global Aerospace Sector.
Akaer, a reference in the aerospace sector, was selected to participate in the production of the C-390 Millennium freighter and the Praetor 600 jet, two of Embraer’s main aircraft. The contract, with an initial validity of five years and the possibility of renewal, was signed this month, further consolidating the long-standing partnership between the companies.
A Partnership That Elevates the Brazilian Aerospace Industry
Cesar Silva, CEO of Akaer, celebrated the achievement: “We are honored to be part of these significant projects in the aerospace sector. Our participation reflects the recognition of the excellence and experience we have built over the years, always guided by our commitment to the customer and innovation.”
Akaer will be responsible for essential components of the aircraft, such as the assembly of the fuel tanks and pylons of the C-390 Millennium freighter, as well as contributing to the production of the Praetor 600 jet.

The C-390 Millennium freighter is one of Embraer’s most ambitious bets in the defense sector. With a payload capacity of 26 tons, a maximum speed of 870 km/h, and state-of-the-art avionics, it is considered the best aircraft in its category.
Akaer has been involved since the beginning of the project, contributing to the development of critical parts such as spoilers and the front fuselage. The C-390 has already been purchased by countries such as the Netherlands, Hungary, South Korea, and Sweden, consolidating its relevance in the international market.
Praetor 600: Excellence in Executive Aviation
In executive aviation, the Praetor 600 jet is one of the highlights. With a capacity for 12 passengers and a range of up to 7,441 km, the model can perform non-stop intercontinental flights. Since 2019, it has been a global reference, operating on short runways and offering a unique combination of innovation and performance.
The Role of Akaer in the Future of Aviation
With over 9 million accumulated engineering hours and involvement in more than 50 global projects, Akaer is a key player in the advancement of the Brazilian aerospace sector. The company, based in São José dos Campos (SP), is also expanding its international presence, with offices in Portugal and Turkey, and establishing a new production unit in the Aerospace Technology Park of Bahia.
