The five medium pickup models that lost the most value in the last year, considering the period from May 2024 to May 2025. For those seeking information on devalued pickups, this analysis is essential before making any buying or selling decisions.

The automotive market is always in motion, and devaluation is a crucial factor for owners and future buyers. In 2025, some medium pickups experienced a considerable drop in value, according to data from the FIPE table. Analyzing these devalued pickups helps to understand the sector’s dynamics.

Ford Ranger Limited 2023: The Arrival of the New Generation and the Impact on Devalued Pickups

The Ford Ranger Limited 2023, belonging to the previous generation, was one of the most complete configurations of Ford’s medium pickup. It featured an imposing look with chrome details, 18-inch wheels, and headlights with projectors and LED daytime running lights. The interior offered a good level of sophistication, above-average finish, an 8-inch multimedia system with CarPlay and Android Auto, a dashboard with two digital screens, dual-zone climate control, electric adjustments for the driver’s seat, and a keyless entry.

Its engine was the 3.2 5-cylinder turbo diesel, delivering 200 horsepower and 47.9 kgf.m of torque, with a six-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction with low-range. The performance was solid, with 0 to 100 km/h in 11.6 seconds, but the fuel consumption was a bit higher than its direct rivals.

The main reason for its inclusion on the devalued pickups list was the arrival of the new generation of the Ranger, which brought a much more technological and sophisticated proposal, leaving the old model behind.

The engine was the 2.3 4-cylinder biturbo diesel, generating 190 horsepower and 45.9 kgf.m of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction with low-range. The performance was good, with 0 to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds, and the fuel consumption was also pleasing.

Despite being well-equipped, the Frontier suffers from being considered the weakest midsize truck in terms of power. The strength of the Hilux in the market and the arrival of the new Ford Ranger impacted its position, making it one of the devalued pickups and most unnoticed currently.

Chevrolet S10 High Country 2023: The Weight of the Facelift

The Chevrolet S10 High Country 2023 tried to maintain its position as the top-of-the-line pickup of the brand, although the arrival of the Silverado changed this perception. Still, it featured an attractive look with diamond 18-inch wheels, a darkened grille, and a hood with striking creases, but fell short by not having LED headlights, only daytime running lights. The interior offered an 8-inch multimedia system with CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and electric adjustments for the driver’s seat, but lacked important items for rivals, such as keyless entry and a digital dashboard.

Its engine was the excellent 2.8 4-cylinder turbo diesel, with 200 horsepower and 51 kgf.m of torque, a six-speed automatic transmission, and 4×4 traction with low-range. The performance impressed, being the fastest four-cylinder, with 0 to 100 km/h close to 10 seconds, and the consumption was reasonable.

The main cause of its devaluation was the launch of the 2025 model of the S10, which received a significant facelift. This made the previous version experience a considerable drop in prices, placing it on the list of devalued pickups.

Volkswagen Amarok Extreme 2023: Performance x Dated Visual in the Devalued Pickups

The look of the Extreme 2023 version was considered dated, despite the bi-xenon headlights with daytime running LEDs, 20-inch wheels, and a beautiful roll bar. Inside, the finish was just okay, with a lot of hard plastic, but good overall quality. It featured a 6-inch multimedia system (small by standards), dual-zone climate control, and excellent ErgoComfort front seats with electric adjustments for both.

However, it lacked items such as keyless entry and a more updated dashboard. Its great advantage was the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel engine, delivering 258 horsepower and 59.1 kgf.m of torque, with an eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive. The performance was on another level, with 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, but the fuel consumption was high.

Even being an excellent truck in performance, the Amarok ranks among the devalued pickups, especially after the model change (facelifting of the 2025 line).

The interior, despite the hard plastic finish (common in the segment), offered good interior space and a list of equipment that pleased, including a complete multimedia system, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, and electric adjustments for the driver’s seat.

The mechanical set was the 2.4 4-cylinder turbo diesel, generating 190 horsepower and 43.9 kgf.m of torque, with a six-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction with low-range. The performance was pleasing as it was a light pickup, and the average fuel consumption was considered very good.

Despite being one of the most complete, reliable options and having one of the best off-road performances in the segment, the L200 Triton remains one of the devalued pickups in the market.

Existe carro Zero Km que depois de comprado apenas a NF sendo emitida não desvaloriza?
Carro Zero Km no Brasil é vendido acima do que vale.
Carro Zero Km é Griffe no Brasil e somos Otários (eu sou um) que ainda compram.
Tenho uma Frontier 23/24 que foi meu ultimo (de tantos) Zero Km’s o carro usado atende bem, basta vc olhar pra trás e ver que após alguns anos o seu Zero Km fica velho na sua mão e não te dá problema algum.
Parem de ser **** nas mãos do marketing automobilístico.

A melhor pra revenda…manutenção… é a S10, tem mercado e assistência de SUL a NORTE do Brasil… já as outras tem poucas revendas, manutenção muito mais cara, principalmente a Ford, e a Nissan, com pouquíssimas revendas autorizadas, não é raro ter que rodar 200 km pra uma simples troca de óleo numa autorizada.

Tenho a 6 nissam desde 2013 isso da um giro de troca a cada 02 anos e posso dizer de cadeira que em 02 anos a troca é com km de mais ou menos 130 a 150 mil km rodado e as revisões são baratas, não dá problema é o conforto não se discute, além da tecnologia embarcada e a economia. Outra coisa antes de trocar de marca tinha uma SW hillux Toyota. Porque troquei…kkkk capotou “”quase””parada
