Learn More About Alura’s Free Online and EAD Programming Courses
According to Paulo Silveira, CEO of Alura, the company aims to expand opportunities in the technology market, which needs new professionals, and for that, they are working on the pillars of diversity and inclusion. The program for free online and EAD courses is aimed at candidates without experience who have never programmed in their lives and have no knowledge of the area.
The goal is to develop professionals and see how far they can go. In the last editions of Dev Immersion, students learned Front End techniques, with which they developed AluraFlix, a streaming platform that includes series, YouTube videos, and games. In other editions of the EAD programming courses, participants without experience created AluraQuiz, a mechanism that can challenge people with questions and show how much they know about a subject.

Learn About Alura
Alura is the largest Information Technology course platform in Brazil. There, inexperienced individuals can learn and improve skills while becoming technology professionals, and to that end, various immersive content is provided where students create their own portfolios, share knowledge, and much more. The institution’s platform offers over 1200 courses, and so far, half a million people have transformed their careers.
The institution emerged when Guilherme and Paulo Silveira realized that many students lacked access to the content they planned to study due to distance and schedule constraints, in addition to some not fitting different class rhythms. It was then that Alura was founded in June 2013.
