Honda Registers 4 New Motorcycles in Brazil
Honda Brazil seems to be feeling the pressure from the meteoric growth of Bajaj and Royal Enfield in the Brazilian market. With Bajaj claiming territory like never before, Honda decided to respond by registering four new motorcycles in Brazil. Let’s take a closer look at this strategic move.
Honda Feels the Pressure
Bajaj, one of the fastest-growing manufacturers in Brazil, is clearly scaring Honda. In a move to regain control of the market, Honda registered four new motorcycles in Brazil, including a direct rival to Royal Enfield and three competitors to Bajaj.
Competition with Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield has dominated the custom motorcycle market in Brazil, a segment that practically did not exist before its arrival. At the recent motorcycle festival in Brasília, Honda showcased two customized CB300Fs and gauged the audience’s interest in bringing the Rebel 300 to Brazil.

Shortly after, Honda registered the Indian CB350, a direct competitor to Royal Enfield. Although in India, Honda’s 300cc motorcycles have not stood out as much as Bajaj’s, the arrival of the CB350 in Brazil could signify a new era for the brand.
The Offensive Against Bajaj
In addition to the CB350, Honda registered three more motorcycles that promise to give Bajaj’s Dominar 400 a run for its money. The CBR500R, a fairing sportbike with 47 horsepower and several cutting-edge technologies, such as LED lighting and a color TFT display, is one of them.
The other two are the adventure NX500 and the Hornet 500, both with specifications similar to the CBR500R, including dual discs in the front and cell phone connectivity. These motorcycles represent a new family of 500cc ready for the Brazilian market.
What to Expect
Honda seems to be preparing for an intense battle in 2025, with promises of new motorcycles still this year. The competitiveness of the motorcycle market in Brazil is increasing, and Honda needs a strong portfolio to face rivals like the Dominar 400, Z500, and Ninja 500, as well as the new motorcycles from Chineray that are on the way.
The truth is that Honda is feeling the pressure and moving quickly to avoid losing more ground. With an aggressive strategy and new models ready to challenge competitors, Honda may be on the verge of regaining its dominance in the Brazilian two-wheeled market. We’ll keep an eye on how this competition unfolds.
Honda registering four new motorcycles in Brazil is a clear sign that the brand is ready to fight for its place in the market. Stay tuned, as the battle is just beginning.

Sempre amei yamaha ( Honda) ? Meia boca
