Installation at Daia Marks Progress in the Electric Mobility Sector and Positions Goiás as a Reference in Sustainable Innovation

The city of Anápolis, in Goiás, was chosen to host the first manufacturing unit of the Chinese multinational Teld Eco Charger in Brazil. The announcement was made on Monday (28), during a mission of Goiás’ Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Services (SIC), Joel Sant’Anna Braga Filho, to the company’s headquarters in Qingdao, China. The planned investment is R$ 100 million for the construction of the factory at the Anápolis Agroindustrial District (Daia), according to the website Portal6.

Teld Eco Charger: Global Leadership in Electric Chargers

Teld Eco Charger is responsible for 42% of China’s production of chargers for electric vehicles and ranks among the leading global manufacturers of equipment for electric cars and buses. The choice of Goiás to host the new unit reinforces the relevance of the state in the national innovation and sustainability landscape. In addition to the factory in Anápolis, the company’s plan includes the installation of three fast charging stations in Goiânia, capable of recharging vehicles in up to 20 minutes – a novelty for the state.

Negotiation Process and Impact for Goiás

The negotiation for the installation of Teld Eco Charger in Anápolis began in November 2024, during an official mission of the Goiás Government to China. At the time, led by Joel Sant’Anna and with participation from the Goiás Military Fire Department, technical visits and studies were conducted for the implementation of electric chargers in new developments. The agreement reached this week consolidates the results of these negotiations and marks a new step for the industrial development of the state.

According to Joel Sant’Anna, the arrival of Teld represents a milestone for Goiás:

“The fact that this Asian giant has chosen to establish itself in our state demonstrates the strength of Goiás’ economy and positions Goiás at the forefront of sustainable development.”
