The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Acre (IFAC), Rio Branco Campus, is currently accepting applications for free Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses in English and Spanish, beginner level.

Regulated by Notice No. 02/2025, the selection process offers 50 spots for the first semester of 2025, equally distributed between the two language courses. Classes will be held in a hybrid format, with an annual workload of 160 hours.

Objectives and Structure of the Courses

The free language courses aim to train and qualify participants for the initial learning of English and Spanish through a practical and dynamic approach. In the hybrid format, classes combine in-person meetings at the Rio Branco Campus and online activities, totaling 4 hours per week. This structure allows flexibility and access to language learning for students, IFAC staff, and members of the external community.

Spots and Selection Criteria

There are 25 spots available for each language course, divided among IFAC staff, students of the institution, and external community members. If specific spots are not filled, they will be redistributed among candidates from other groups. Selection will be conducted through an electronic lottery, ensuring transparency in filling the spots.

Requirements and Registration

Candidates aged 14 years or older, with completed or ongoing Elementary School II, can register for the free courses. Registration is free and can be done in person at the Rio Branco Campus or online, through the links available in the notice. A valid email must be provided, and documents such as ID, CPF, and proof of affiliation with the Federal Institute-IFAC (when applicable) must be attached.
