Statistical Analysis of the Salary Guide for 2023
The salary ranges from Robert Half are divided into three categories by position, based on factors such as the level of education and experience of the candidate, the level of difficulty of the job, and the sector in which they are seeking employment. The average salary is not always the midpoint of the salary range for a given position; instead, salaries are divided into percentiles, with the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles representing these ranges. Experience in the role, time spent in the segment, sector characteristics, demand and availability of the profile in the market, skills, and additional certifications are just some of the criteria that can be used to define which range the profile fits into. A candidate in the 25th percentile has little to no experience in the area and needs more time to develop relevant skills, while someone in the 75th percentile has much more experience than normal and possesses all the necessary skills for the position, as well as any required specializations and certifications, for example.
