In partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), UFSC is promoting a Selection Process for Online Tutors in 2024.
This process is aimed at a Extension Course in Teacher Training and Management, which is essential for the inclusion and appreciation of diversities in the educational environment.

Available Spots
Of the 100 spots offered, 25% are reserved for candidates who identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous, people with disabilities, transgender persons, and travestis.
These quotas are essential to ensure diversity and representation in the teaching staff and educational activities.
The goal is to ensure that more voices and experiences are included in the discussion on education, reflecting the rich diversity of Brazilian society.
Interested candidates must fill out an online form, and in the case of persons with disabilities, it is necessary to attach a medical report that certifies the condition.

Compensation and Benefits
The selected tutors will be entitled to a monthly scholarship of R$ 1,100.00. This compensation is an important incentive for professionals to fully dedicate themselves to tutoring activities.

Payment will be made via bank deposit and is conditioned on the submission of monthly reports proving the activities carried out.

Stages of the Selection Process
Applications for this opportunity will be open from October 25 to November 9, 2024. Stay tuned! The selection process is divided into two main stages:
- Preliminary Document Analysis: In this phase, the candidates’ identification documentation and academic training will be verified.
- Curriculum Analysis: Professional experience and additional requirements will be evaluated, taking into account each candidate’s trajectory.
The final classification of candidates will be announced on December 1, 2024.
There is still a period for appeals that extends until December 3, 2024, allowing those who were not selected to contest the decision if necessary.
