With a focus on hiring female employees, Hydro’s “Viva o Seu Talento 2022” trainee program is open for enrollment

Hydro is receiving applications from interested candidates for the “Viva o Seu Talento 2022” trainee program, which focuses on hiring female employees. Considering that women represent 52% of the Brazilian population, Hydro opened the program with the aim of forming teams that increasingly reflect society. With the aim of putting inclusion actions into practice, the company developed a program based on the pillars of courage, care and collaboration.

In addition to promoting inclusion, the act of inserting women into qualified positions in the labor market also contributes economically to society. And, according to Hydro's Director of Human Resources, Nelia Lapa, the company believes that investing in a more diverse team of employees is extremely important for solving complex challenges and also for creating the innovations that prove necessary to support Hydro's ambition to be a profitable and sustainable industrial leader.

The director also added that “the implementation of this trainee program focused on the talents of people identified with the female gender is part of a series of actions that we have developed to promote diversity, in line with the guidelines of our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging program”.

Positions available at Hydro

Candidates selected through the “Viva Seu Talento 2022” trainee program will have the opportunity to work at the Alunorte refinery plants in Barcarena (PA), at Hydro Paragominas, at Hydro’s office in Belém (PA) and at Hydro Extrusão, in Itu (SP), Utinga (SP) and Tubarão (SC).

The exclusive program for women will last for 2 years and will focus on professional development, offering the tools to immerse trainees in their area of ​​expertise and mentoring with a skills development plan: leadership, organization, behavior and technique. Those selected will also have the opportunity to get to know all of Hydro's business units in Brazil.

How to enroll in Hydro's trainee program

The registration period for the “Viva o Seu Talento 2022” trainee program runs until March 7 and applications can be made from Hydro's website. To participate in the program, a selection will be made in four phases, with language, behavior, dynamics and online case tests, in addition to the interview that can be done in person, following all safety and protection protocols against Covid-19.
