Swiss Company Introduces New Electric Bicycle With 300W Motor And 426 Wh Battery. The Model Is Ultra-Light And Features Modern Design.
The Swiss manufacturer Thömus recently announced the launch of its latest electric bicycle, named Swissrider. Featuring a minimalist design and weighing 11.3 kg, the model is seen as the lightest available in the current e-bike market. The highlight is its electric motor based on the same technology used in NASA’s Mars Rover, the Maxon Bikedrive Air, which can generate a continuous power of 250 watts and a peak output of over 300 watts.
Electric Bicycle With Super Motor Costs US$ 5,750
The bicycle features three battery options, which are 250 Wh, 426 Wh, or 360 Wh, plus a 250 Wh range extender that can be equipped as an option. However, the company has not yet released information about the performance of the electric bicycle with a 300-watt motor. The model is an ultra-light and versatile electric bicycle that, according to the company, meets the demands of urban and sporty cyclists. With an elegant design and an integrated battery in the down tube, the model can easily be mistaken for a regular bicycle.
The frame structure is developed with carbon fiber, making its weight even lighter. The pedal assist is strong enough to give an extra boost to the cyclist on longer rides both in and out of the city, making it a great means of transportation for those focused on sustainable mobility.
