The survey, released in September 2024, suggests that, with a net worth of US$ 195 billion and a growth rate of 109.88% per year, Musk is expected to reach the impressive mark of US$ 1 trillion by 2027, according to the Poder 360 website.

Elon Musk, known for his futuristic ambitions and technological innovations, has been expanding his wealth primarily through his companies Tesla and SpaceX, in addition to his recent foray into social media with the purchase of X. Both are expected to reach the trillion by 2030 if their fortunes continue to grow at the current rate.

Besides individuals, Informa Connect Academy also provided forecasts for companies that may reach the trillion-dollar mark in the coming years. TSMC, the Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer and the third largest in the world in its segment, leads the list of companies. With a market valuation of US$ 893.7 billion and an average growth rate of 32.14%, TSMC is well positioned to reach the US$ 1 trillion mark by 2025.
