Golden opportunity for those dreaming of an international career: Chevening, one of the most prestigious scholarship programs for Brazilians, has opened its application period for the academic year 2026. The initiative, funded by the UK government, offers full scholarships for one-year master’s courses at any UK university, covering all student costs.

Who Can Apply?

The Chevening selection process is competitive and seeks candidates with a specific profile. To compete for one of the scholarships for Brazilians, you need to meet the following prerequisites:

Have Brazilian citizenship.
Hold a completed undergraduate degree.
Prove at least two years of professional experience (equivalent to 2,800 hours of work).
Have been accepted to up to three master’s courses at UK universities and possess an unconditional offer from at least one of them at the time of the interview.
Demonstrate proficiency in English, meeting the program’s requirements.

How Does the Selection Process Work?

The process is fully online and divided into stages. After registration, candidates who pass the first phase will be invited for an interview, usually held between March and April 2026. The final result will be announced in June, and studies will begin between September and October of the same year.
