The German Multinational Comes to Revolutionize the Automotive Market and Invests in a Fully Electric Car That Dispenses a Plug to Charge the Battery and Can Be Fueled at Any Gas Station

Have you imagined having a fully electric car that, to charge the battery, does not need plugs, being able to refuel it at any gas station? The German multinational bets on using ethanol to generate hydrogen and from this chemical element, produce electricity! The feat is still under studies, but according to Besaliel Botelho, president of Bosch in Latin America, during a live event with Valor, this could be the way for Brazil to compensate for delays in vehicle evolution and participate in the global electrification process.

The new technology will compete with the battery industry, which has been evolving in reducing prices and presenting lighter products that ensure greater autonomy for the vehicle.

After Ford, Chevrolet, Honda and Audi Withdrew or Reduced Vehicle Production in the Country, the Multinational Bosch Brings Manufacturing from the USA to Curitiba

The German multinational auto parts manufacturer Bosch opposed the movement of automakers Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, and Audi, who decided to withdraw or reduce production in Brazil, and brought to the country the production of injectors and injector nozzles for trucks that were produced in its factories in the United States, thus expanding the diesel injection systems division at its Curitiba factory.

Furthermore, the intention of the German multinational is not only to supply the domestic market but also to export a large quantity – which can reach up to half of the production.

According to Martins, who is also the coordinator of automotive courses at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, the arrival of Bosch’s production from the USA to Curitiba will primarily benefit local truck manufacturers in Brazil, who will no longer need to import Bosch products.
