In 2024, Brazil reached 54% adoption of generative artificial intelligence, surpassing the global average of 48%. With 80% of the population trusting the impact of AI on science and 77% in medicine, the country stands out as a reference in technological innovation and sees technology as an ally in economic growth and job creation.

Brazil has been standing out globally when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI). In a recent survey conducted by Ipsos and Google, it became evident that Brazilians are among the highest users of AI in daily life, surpassing the global average. What does this mean? That the country is riding the wave of innovation, turning technologies into practical tools to improve life.

A Country Connected to the AI Revolution

In 2024, 54% of Brazilians reported using generative AI for creating texts, music, and images. Meanwhile, the global average was 48%. Isn’t that impressive? It shows how open the population is to technological innovations, quickly incorporating them into various areas.

Writing assistants, translators, and search tools are some examples of AI that have already become part of the routine of millions of Brazilians. Whether for studying, working, or organizing life, these tools are becoming indispensable. After all, who hasn’t asked for help from a virtual assistant or used an online translator to save time?

Optimism and Confidence in the Benefits of AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a technology that enables machines to think and learn like humans. It is already part of our daily lives, helping with simple tasks and solving complex problems.

When we talk about innovation, science and medicine are champions of optimism in Brazil. About 80% of Brazilians believe that AI can transform science, and 77% see technology as an ally for medical advancements. It’s as if AI is the engine driving the quest for more efficient and accessible solutions.

Although there is often fear that AI will replace jobs, Brazilians view this transformation with optimism. In 2023, 20% of workers were concerned about needing a new job because of AI. This number fell to 15% in 2024, thanks to the perception that AI can create new opportunities and increase productivity.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities

In education, AI-based tools are already essential. Automatic translators and writing assistants, for example, help students and professionals save time and improve their skills. It’s like having a mentor available at all times.

Did you know that 88% of Brazilians believe that AI is essential for dealing with complex information? This is because the technology helps companies and individuals make faster and more effective decisions, opening doors to innovative solutions.

The Promising Future of AI in Brazil

More efficient online searches, personal assistance, and support in daily tasks are just some of the areas where AI has transformed the lives of Brazilians. These advancements prove that technology is not a luxury, but a necessity.

The enthusiasm of Brazilians for AI does not go unnoticed. According to Google Brazil President Fábio Coelho, the country is on the right track to fully leverage the opportunities that this technology offers. With optimism, innovation, and accessible tools, Brazil is consolidating its position as a leader in the adoption of artificial intelligence.
