Bugatti, a company that develops several luxury and sports cars, has now reduced its prices to sell an electric scooter for just R$6. The vehicle can reach up to 30 km/h.
Bugatti is well known by car enthusiasts worldwide, not only for the record speed of its vehicles, but also for its prices. However, this time, oddly enough, Bugatti is offering an electric scooter for less than R$7. This is the Bugatti 9.0, the first two-wheel 'scooter'.
Bugatti electric vehicle can reach a top speed of 30 km/h
The Bugatti Electric Scooter is the result of a partnership between the automaker and electric accessory company Bytech. As you can see, it's a pedal scooter reminiscent of the so-called Ducati Pro-I Evo. However, it is not something that can be used for high speeds.
O electric vehicle it is powered by a 600 W motor and a 360 Wh battery, and can reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h. With a magnesium alloy frame, the electric scooter features two 9-inch (22,86 cm) wheels and weighs about 15,9 kg.

Its design is clean, has greater aerodynamics and is based on lines and colors linked to the language of Bugatti, with blue, black and silver finishes. The electric scooter's motor provides enough power to climb a slope of up to 15 degrees. The device has a removable battery that can be recharged from a standard outlet in about 4 hours.
Bugatti electric 'scooter' has a range of up to 35 km
The vehicle has three driving modes: Economy, Sport and City. With them, the maximum speeds reached by the vehicle are 14 km/h, 20 km/h and 30 km/h, respectively. The Bugatti vehicle also has a cruise control function available.
Bugatti claims that it should make its electric scooter available in versions with more than 35 km of autonomy, with a double brake system with electronic ABS on the rear wheel. In addition, the model has turn signals, an illuminated base and a logo projecting the rear “EB” monogram, which comes from “Ettore Bugatti”, founder of the brand.
The side lights are projected under the vehicle's board, creating a kind of cloud of light below the scooter. A large LED display shows the rider the vehicle's speed, battery life, riding mode and light status.
Bugatti develops accessible and low-cost design
Commenting on the project, Bugatti Managing Director Wiebke Stahl noted, “Partnering with a company like Bytech gives Bugatti the chance to extend its reach in the electric mobility space, with an experienced partner and a product that can be enjoyed by consumers around the world.
It's important to remember that Bytech sells a wide range of products, from phone stands to Bluetooth speakers. Bugatti and Bytech are selling the electric scooter for US$ 1.200, which in direct conversion is equivalent to R$ 6 thousand.
That seems low for a product with a Bugatti badge, but considering its specs it's still pretty expensive. To give you an idea, Ducati's Pro-I Evo costs around US$ 480. It is worth mentioning that Bugatti produces some of the best, fastest and most expensive cars in the world, and has already developed an electric replica of the classic Bugatti Type 35.
