In two years, the Group has completed over 500 projects with the BV Green Line and presents four new courses in its Educational Program

A reference in sustainability, Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC), expands its Educational Program portfolio with the launch of the courses: Project Management, Energy Ecoefficiency, Carbon Footprint, and Green Hydrogen. The Group combines the expertise from its more than 500 projects executed in recent years with the concepts, fundamentals, and techniques taught to professionals who want to introduce more sustainable practices into organizations.

“The world is demanding sustainable adaptations from companies. Knowledge about carbon footprint, more rational use of natural and energy resources, the influence on climate change, and understanding the methods of production, storage, and transport of renewable hydrogen are becoming increasingly essential for market professionals,” states Andressa Lisboa, Director of Certification and Sustainability at Bureau Veritas. “We offer more than just course materials, but also the extensive experience from all these years working in Sustainability, with the aim of training more people to work in this expanding market,” she emphasizes.

Bureau Veritas has an exclusive portfolio for sustainable services and solutions, the BV Green Line, enabling the Group to be present in the implementation, measurement, and achievement of goals for public and private organizations. From 2022 to the first quarter of 2024, there were over 500 projects for more than 300 companies.

Currently, more than half of Bureau Veritas’ global revenue is tied to the BV Green Line portfolio. In Brazil, in the last 3 years, over R$18 million has been added from new projects and contract renewals. To meet all market sectors and various needs, the portfolio includes customized and diversified solutions such as: assurance of sustainability reports, sustainability seal according to ESG pillars, product traceability, greenhouse gas inventory and carbon footprint, wood management system, value chain audits from an ESG perspective, platform verification, social audits, and energy transition related to hydrogen, ammonia, and biogas.

In the course section, they cover the new transformations in organizations regarding carbon footprint management, ways to report and control greenhouse gas emission data, principles of ecoefficiency, water reuse, waste management, green building projects, among others.

In Bureau Veritas’ Educational Program, which has trained over 100,000 people and served more than 3,000 companies, interested individuals can choose from over 200 courses offered in different formats, such as postgraduate, distance learning, in company, and live online. The new courses last up to 90 days, and at the end, the enrolled participant receives a completion certificate validated by Bureau Veritas.
