(IF) The Federal Institute of Bahia Offers Job Openings with Salaries of up to R$3,400; Learn More about the Selection Process.
The (IF) Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia opened a selection process to fill 13 temporary job positions for substitute teachers. The opportunities are aimed at the Brumado campus, and applications will occur from October 8 to October 20, 2024, exclusively online. The salary reaches R$3,412.63, and candidates can choose between a workload of 20 or 40 hours per week.
The announcement no. 09/2024 was published in the Official Gazette of the Union on October 1, and presents job openings for various fields of knowledge, requiring only a degree in the desired area. In addition to the base salary, teachers will be entitled to aids ranging from R$500 to R$1,000, depending on the chosen workload.

How Does the IF Selection Process Work?
The selection process will be divided into two stages: Teaching Performance Test and Document Evaluation. The first phase, which is eliminatory and classificatory, will be held between October 30 and November 1 at the IFBA campus in Brumado. Successful candidates will then undergo the document evaluation, which is classificatory in nature.
The location where the tests will take place is the IFBA campus, located at Rua Francisco Manoel da Cruz, nº 55, in the São José neighborhood. This phase is crucial to assess candidates’ ability to teach in a didactic and technical manner. After these stages are completed, the final list of approved candidates will be validated and published in the Official Gazette of the Union.
The selection process is valid for two years, which may be extended for an additional two, according to the interest of IFBA.
