Caixa Econômica Federal Has Over 6,000 Internship Positions for Candidates Without Experience. The Selection Process Is Open for Various States in Brazil and for Students from Various Courses.
The Caixa Econômica Federal has opened a new selection process with over 6,800 internship positions spread across all regions of Brazil. The positions without experience are being offered in partnership with the Centro de Integração Empresa Escola (CIEE). Applications can be made until the 24th of next month for undergraduate, technical, and high school students in Architecture, Law, Engineering, and social sector courses.
Requirements That Caixa Econômica Federal Requires for Interested Candidates in the Selection Process
The positions without experience are intended for students aged at least 16 years who are enrolled and attending high school or a course recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). There is a reservation of 10% of the positions for People with Disabilities (PcD) and 30% for candidates who self-declare as black (either Afro-Brazilian or mixed-race).
Additionally, interested candidates must be native Brazilians or foreigners with a permanent visa in the country and not dismissed from public service. It is also necessary to be up to date with electoral obligations and, if over 18 years old and male, to be in compliance with military obligations.

Caixa Econômica Federal also requires that the candidate has not interned for a period equal to or greater than two years at Caixa, except for people with disabilities, according to Article 11 of Law 11,788, dated September 25, 2008, and that they do not have any registration restrictions that would prevent the opening of accounts for receiving internship scholarships and transportation assistance.
From the start date of the Caixa Econômica Federal internship, the student must be at least 16 years old. At the time of signing the contract, the undergraduate student must be in the third semester for courses lasting 3 years or 3.5 years and in the fifth semester for courses lasting 4 years or 5 years.
For the high school student, it is mandatory to be from the first year of high school or the technical professional education at the secondary level.

Currently, the bank has 4,950 internship positions open for high school interns and 1,850 for undergraduate students, which are renewed as current contracts expire, with a duration of six months to two years.
The selection process will take place through an online exam, and undergraduate candidates will also undergo an interview. Applications must be made through the CIEE website. It is important to note that participants in the Vira Vida Social Program must inform their participation at the time of application and upload documentation.
The scholarship provided by Caixa Econômica Federal will start at R$ 400 for middle and technical levels and can reach up to R$ 1,000 for higher education, varying according to the workload. Students also receive a transportation aid of R$ 130 per month.
